Only until tomorrow, when the Plaid is unleashed, then back to the drawing board for gas cars. Best for all manufacturers to start making some good EV's gas cars are history.
@@dzerres but....ameritards dont carry anything but inferior trash products (like that ugly white Egg which they call a 'car') and are made of siblings Love... German saying.
@@kylereese4822 You tesla fools starting comparing every car on the universe with the plaid when your trash car loses to its competitor even of it puts out 100 Hp more😂😂 Is that make sense comparing 1020 Hp vs 510 Hp?😂😂 I dont think so
Believe me the autobahn sucs...its nowhere near like on this vid that represents back in the days ...now you have people who don't care driving 100 where you are coming in at 190 250 last time I was there I had a truck doin 90 and I came in at 260
Very true, I have lived in both countries. In Germany you make sure to move over to the right if you have overtaken someone at i e 100 mph because that very small light waaaay back there in your rear view mirror is suddenly right behind you, blinking left…
My E82 135i does 300kph, manual, stage 1+ tune, n55 engine, coupe, performance exhaust, 340hp, RWD, love! My 2011 BMW w 80k cost 20k in Germany ...Teslas are 40k & up I think
MS P100D and MX P90D owner here. Thank God nobody unwittingly pulled into the left lane while you were flying. Trying to quickly slow this 5500lb Hippo is... not fun. I've had some true pucker moments just trying to slow quickly from 130-150 kph.
Goodness that M6 spanked the Tesla accelerating onto the autobahn. He was a little speck in no time. I thought that's where the Tesla is supposed to shine?
futurism.com/the-byte/tesla-record-mileage-900000-kilometers on original motor and 2nd battery pack... how many fuel fill ups to in the BMW to match that ???
@@dzerres But it isnt the plaid so result doesnt change and even the x has 100 hp more. And ask to yourself; Is that makes sense comparing 1020 Hp vs 510 Hp?😂😂 X is a better competitor but loses so there is nothing to do with that.
This car maybe has 611bhp up to 60-80km/h, over 200km/h it’s driving like it has 150-200bhp max. Not sure if the battery has overheated but the car doesn’t like higher speeds at all
All electric cars have a problem in high speed, most of them are limited at 250, because all batteries lose too much energie at this speed. The wind resistance also increases to the square of the speed. If you double the speed , the wind resistance increases 4 times.
@@vast634 the road is normal, and the reason for poor noise insulation is poor insulation of the wheel arches, poor assembly, and a large panorama along the entire interior
@@fildela3651 many things are in development, eventually technology will catch up. But when I read that top speed in EV is governed to preserve range, this is a wrong generalization. There are technical challenges to overcome going high speed, going high speed is expensive. The powertrain (battery inverter motor) has to be able to deliver especially sustained power at that high speed. And the motor has to be able to reach that high rpm because there is normally no gearbox. At 2:16 even if it's not clear the dashboard is showing a yellow dashed line on the power meter and it is when power derating starts, this was a common problem of Tesla pre raven designs. SOC also plays a role, but here looks like 50%. Conversely an ICE is exactly in the ideal condition with maximum airflow for cooling and can sustained high speed without problems and it does not matter if the "SOC of the fuel tank" is 1% or 100%.
And when u press the pedal to the floor the Sound of the V8 come to lif...No where is the sound 😢😴 how can Tesla make trash like that with No Sound of a hard working piston engine ...No Sound No Fun!!
Poor tesla got smokes by the real car... M6 it's a different story. Driving electric cars is so boring. The sound of m6 makes a real man happy not a toy car like tesla.
Thank you for this video. What is the estimated range when you drive around 200 km/h on german highways, meaning how far does a fully charged car get? I regularly drive on german highways and rarely drop below 200 km/h (unless traffic or regulations do not allow). My fear is that a Tesla would not bring me to more than 200-250 km at this pace?
FAir = rho/2 * cw * A * v2 The calculation of the wind resistance unfortunately has a quadratic factor in the speed. So at speed 200 you have a wind resistance 4 times as large as at 100kmh. Thus you can also divide the specified range of the vehicles by 4. You will not be happy with a Tesla.
My MY gets me around 150-170 km straight with permanently going 220kmh. When there’s normal day traffic I normally get 250km range when I drive as fast as I can whenever I can.
@@uknw4839 if ur Engine is only running at 25% efficency, then u will not notice the impact of higher speeds if that 25% will be doubled. Lets say u need 8l/100km when driving 100kmh. Then ur car will need 2l for propulsion cuz of the efficency. If ur going 150kmh that 2l will double to 4l. U will need 10l/100km then. I hope u get the point
were you speeding before recording this? you start driving at 20:07, and power limit shows up after just ONE MINUTE. i know it's warm (shows 23'C) but it's warm, not hot. It''s at least weird to get limit so fast.
@@enjoiBoys hatte tesla model 3long range (2. Stärkste) und war mit volle batterie schneller als der performance mit 30% batterie... Ich teste ja auch selber autos. Wo hast du gesehen oder woher weisst du das es voll ist?
