I love the Tesla Model Y in theory, but the quality control issues (and the fact that I'm super broke) keep me from truly considering getting one, but this review is making me rethink my life😅 Badass vid as always Marc
People who still talk quality control havent really sat in one in a while. They have changed a lot since those issues. Suspension is still tight when makes it seem bumpy. But overall way better than it used to be. Plus 40k for awd long range now with .99 financing. Just as cheap most cars with those features.
my new tesla Y long range 2024 has some issues which I dont like: 1. Full charge is 304 miles, not 310 miles as they said 2. when parking at home, I turn off all features (sentry mode ,...) but it still drain 1% battery for one day 3. 304 miles but I only can drive 5 days to work (15 miles away from my house). So actually, they said 310 miles but I can only drive less than 230 miles >< so sad
Wait your comment makes my head hurt. I don’t understand at all lol. The range is 77-80kwh. 1 kWh is about say 3.8 miles. So that’s about 296.4. Full is 81 kWh x 4 (round up) which amounts to 324. But EPA is 310. Realistically you’ll get about 290 but you can get legit 300. But nobody drives 300 miles from 100 to 0%. Nobody. You’ll charge up to 80% and typically don’t go under 20 so with math you’ll get 187.2 miles. If you drive 5 days a week for 15 miles away. 30 miles a day.. amounts to 6.24 days. Soo… that’s more than enough for you.
@@jefferrrson1x oh sorry english is my second language. I just wanna say I had not thought about the actual distance I could drive before I bought my tesla. I expected my Tesla to run for over a week before needing a charge. However, in reality, I have to charge it every weekend. If I have to go farther, I am concerned about that. Besides this thing, I love my tesla, paid 7k$ for a matte ppf to make it pretty ^.^
tesla will be the standard charging station in north america? I don’t think so 😂 other car brand’s EV cars aren’t compatible with tesla but I heard about rivian using it though, tesla is smart enough to not let other car brands aside from rivian use their charging station😂
I have one of these and it's the worst car I've ever driven. It's very ugly and embarrassing to drive. The cheap and tacky feeling interior is like an unfurnished apartment. The lack of controls and everything being done through the tablet makes it dangerous. The phantom braking has almost caused an accident on several occasions. The sensors are terrible which cause the phantom braking and the rain sensors are shocking. The handling is awful and ride very uncomfortable. Overall it's a really terrible car and I can't wait to see the back of it.
How on earth did you get to that point without realising at least some of this up front? It makes you sound like an idiot! If you don't like it that much just get rid of it. Otherwise just enjoy it. 🤦🙄
Unfortunately not, it was a company car that was part of the new job. Didn't get a say in it as it's already half way through the lease. It's going in Dec though 👏 🥳
Model Y poor fit and finish! can't open the car door at times! 240$ per month in insurance cost, I am a perfect second driver too over 30, warning can't just call the dealership if you have issues ! wheels get road rash just by looking at them, tires are poor just look at the face, prices change every month so my value goes down not stable company what a joke, I want my money back Tesla
