Bro I’m just sitting here laughing at the comments. I didn’t know Tesla’s came with a ceramic coating(I can’t remember if that’s what it’s called), reminds me to get the same coating when I get my car painted
@@nemiahbarnett8854 I hope you use real spray paint on your car after watching this. This guy just ruined our lives, great. What now this influencer ruined us dudeski
Fun fact: everyone is thinking those spray paints are solvent based and in reality those are water based... A big prank to everyone. Edit: If i only had 1€ for every like...
I'm a paint tech and this has nothing to do with the car and everything to do with you using water based spray paint and any car with a factory paint job or with a ceramic coating can't just be spray painted...

@@SubaruWRXspdManual It’s actually not. To melt something away is another way of saying to make something disappear and/or to dissolve. He is not using it incorrectly. I can see why you would think that thought because it’s not a common thing to be used in that way. Anyway, not every word in the English dictionary is supposed to be taken literally or by the first (main) definition. There’s multiple ways it can be used that’s still accurate!! :)
Actually, melting (verb) can only mean one thing in physics. It is the turning of a solid into liquid. Technically, if the chalk spray paint he used dried already, then he can say that it melted. But, as seen in the video, it was still fresh. If you would ask me, the more appropriate term is "washed away". "The spray paint has been washed away by the water." Still, I've been hearing some people use the word "melt" incorrectly, so, as long as you understand what's he's trying to say, please don't make a deal out of it. Hope this comment helped! Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm 13 years old, and I may not be right. Have a nice day y'all.
A moment of silence for the kids who spray painted their parents car and it didn’t come off😔 Edit: guys chill All you guys need to stop being toxic, he was just trying to help me out and I fixed that, so plz stop being toxic.
When you screenshot and Zoom in on the can you see that it's rustoleum chalk spray paint. It has instructions that it removes with water. That's why he tried to hide the label so bad. Why lie bro? We still think your tesla walks on water even IF it doesn't repel paint.
Tiktokers tend to think we’re as dumb as they are. They likely don’t read the comments, so they don’t realize 99% of people had suicidal thoughts after the vid.
Chalk paint like this isn’t literally chalk. It wouldn’t just dissolve with water like sidewalk chalk would. While it’s wet, you can clean up with soap and water though, just like all water-based paint.
@@colossalbigfoot256 The argument for electricity sources is getting old, and is no longer valid for many people, it never really was given how many people use solar power from their homes or live in a region that heavily sources solar, wind and hydro as energy sources. If you want to find a source for argument, go for the batteries. It's all you've got left. Ultimately though, the batteries are still more sustainable and better for the environment (once factoring in clean energy for charging) than ICE vehicles.
Well you see , tesla may use solar and wind energy to produce Said cars , but 3rd party manufacturers don't. I worked for thyssenkrupp presta and we built model 3 steering columns and other tesla parts. Huge factory. No solar. No wind. Also they have yet to build a solar factory that can produce 3 phase energy and not self destruct itself. Car factories need 3 phase for the laser welding and painting and stamping. Etc.
I saw the screen captured version of it (with warnings and comments of what happened to who followed the instructions) like 10 years ago, but it was more complicated than that. Mixing all the shits that you can find easily at home, but as a result, doing what OP said.
I’m just cringing about the fact that the paint water is getting into the hood crack and other crevices lol Edit: I know that cars are specially designed to have canals to help water flow out of the car but I was just cringing about the fact that if he didn’t clean it properly, the paint water is going to dry up in all these little cracks and crevices 2nd edit: y’all gotta chill, don’t hate on this dude for uploading what he wants to. If yur jealous or upset about the fact that he is using a car that he spent his blood sweat and tears working towards, you have got to look back on the way you act towards other people.
Cars have drains built into these areas to get the water out. If you look at your cars trunk, it has channels for the water to run out if you open it when it's wet, and this is the same
I mean the paint wouldn't come off the film either but I guess you could demark it. Seems like a waste of several thousand dollars but people do stranger things.
@@dillonpatterson4310 I think it’s possible he bought ceramic coating for the car which explains why it never sticked. Do you want me to tell you what it is?
@@reallyonfire do you realize how big the carbon footprint of these "green" electric vehicles are. Not to mention the huge number of rare and toxic metals that need to be mined for the batteries. These are not the solution to a unproven hypothesis.

Love it!!! Teach people to spray paint Tsela's! It's kind of like throwing paint on a person wearing a fur coat. Got to love it. What an amazing way to fool your frinds and family...my OCD brother freaked out the when i washed off the 2 day old paint..lol he gave me a high five and bought me Starbcuks for the laughs.🎉🎉🎉 Everyone's need to try this challenge! No more graffiti where we dont want it! Wounder what chemicals are in it though Awesome video!❤ I used high temperature engine/ bbq paint and anti rust paints as thats all we had in the shed. Someone needs to figure out what paint doesn't work on this challenge.😊
Wow I really hope no one believes this video. Tesla has no “extra benefits” to its paint. It’s just normal paint. Actually, Tesla is known for having cheap paint, so their paint is worse in quality over competitors. And there is such thing as washable spray paint as seen in the video.
Even if it's not the washable variety it still wouldn't stick anyways. Those kids didn't sand the clear coat off first lmao it would just bubble and peel away on its own in a week or two if it wasn't washed away
I was actually surprised that this video, which is part 2, received significantly more views than part 1. So, people might think that he was neglectful enough to not inform his viewers that he used a washable spray paint, rather than an ordinary spray paint.
There's a video of a guy in Germany who hasn't set foot outside his car (at the time of the video 7 years) and it was a old Mercedes W204 Estate wagon , it did over 1.2m miles
It doesn’t matter what kind of paint the cars painted with if he used something other than chalk or water based he would’ve been screwed some people spray paint there car and use it as an insurance claim and you can find some on co part and in this instance he got lucky they didn’t use any paint that stuck
@@therandomrobert1842 He purposely let his niece and nephew paint on his car, hes fully aware its chalk spray paint. He didnt get lucky, hes just being one hell of an uncle.

This guy literally posted the dumb "spread the positivity" line that every fake influencer uses whenever someone dares have a different opinion than him.
He says he has a kid audience. If a kid watches this, the very first thing they will do is go grab a can of spray paint from the garage and spray it on their parents vehicle. This guy is actually being a complete piece of shit then trying to cover himself up in the comments. Absolutely pathetic.
