It is even worse - he effectively said that he will develop AI outside of Tesla, unless he has 25% of the voting control. And that AFTER selling a huge chunck of his Tesla shares to buy Twitter. I think it is ridiculous that a CEO goes against the interest of the company

There are literally hundreds of Tesla pumpers trying to convince you to dilute your shares and give the largest payout in history to the guy tanking sales and that destroyed the brand!! Please stop watching them and think for yourself!

All you need to do is call your broker and they should be able to show you how to vote. It took me 5 minutes to vote my shares.

Imagine if Elon leaves, I bet you most of the talents will leave with him. Honestly, I don't see us winning the vote. It's stack against us, the non-vote counts as a no, judge with an agenda, institution against it. Even in this comment section people don't like Elon or more worry about the current stock price. It's a tall order to get the majority

Yes this sounds like corporate sabotage to be honest. Elon is an enemy of the establishment and they are trying to hobble him in whatever way they can.

@@TSLAyer_One If the vote is "Yes" you are getting diluted, and a lot of the people voted "No" will start selling before they get diluted. + Elon will start selling even more share because now he knows he's secured many more shares. Elon's sold over 40 Billion in stock so far by the way ... poor Elon, he needs more

Actually this is not only about Elon. If you do a job and the contract promises you a salary, then, job would that make you feel if they don't stick to their contract? In fact there is even more to this, if you don't like a contractor, despite doing his job, then you don't have to pay them.

@@bugsvan The problem is Teslas board of directors, theres is no independence from Elon as they are all friends and family of his. There are no checks and balances or people fighting on shareholders behalf, just a bunch of Elons “yes men” who exploit the system to their own advantage, hence the fact that there was no objection to Elons egregious pay package. Go look at how much profit Tesla has made since profitability and compare that to all of Elons compensation? Seem fair? Only reason Elon was granted to the package was because he “manipulated and hyped” up the stock promising the moon to fan boy investors instead of delivering actual value or sources of income to the company. One example would be Elons promise of FSD Robotaxi level 4 autonomy, hes been lying to investors about FSD capabilities since 2018 and the stock was pumped as a result. Here we are in 2024 and FSD is still level 2 and generates NO INCOME, Elon promised that Tesla vehicles would be appreciating assets that generate income for owners while in reality Teslas have become the fastest depreciating vehicles and those who pre ordered FSD $15-$12,0000 are screwed because new buyers of FSD are currently paying $8,000… Tesla business is falling apart, Elon is non existent social media and drug addicted CEO, he spends most of his time posting cringy content on twitter like a true buffoon. Solar roof was a fail, 4680 mass production was a fail, FSD Robotaxi since 2018 fail, roadster fail, DOJO fail…. The list goes on If Elon delivered on everything promised and those said things were bringing in boat loads of profits to the company then the compensation package wouldnt be such a bad idea. But look at the reality… nothing has been delivered, Tesla technology doesnt generate money, CEO asleep at the helm and high on his own supply, and the car business is dwindling.

We hang onto the potential; fsd, robotaxi, Semi, cheaper model, Optimus, Roadster, solar tiles, cheaper model Cybertruck, the list goes on. I'm giving it another two weeks:-)
