Just got the headlights on my '21 model 3 in The Netherlands. Seemed to work very nicely on a long night drive today. Nobody was flashing me and the headlights adapting was less distracting than the previous auto highbeams.

the thing about LFP batteries is although you have lower max range, since you're charging it to full every time while only charging a Li battery to 80% every day, leading to a similar range. plus degredation that fast charging will cause on a Li battery that wont happen as noticeably on an LFP battery. Honestly for most people, it seems like LFP is just the way to go. save the higher energy density Li batteries for performance cars and trucks that need the higher energy density and higher power output.

when I saw the light show display 'Tesla' on the garage door with the headlights I wondered what capability it would bring down the track.

I'd be happy if the auto high beams would actually work correctly. Auto wipers are crap too. I keep having to turn it to manual. I tried using the auto high beams and they were going nuts, I was afraid other drivers would get road rage thinking I was doing that to irritate them. I love that fact that my Tesla cars can get software updates but they need to contract testing firms that are NOT Tesla employees.

LFP batteries doesn't benefit from charging to 100%. LFP also degrades, even faster than regular NMC/NCM lithium batteries in the beginning. The reason for 100% charging is the BMS need for a good reference point for state of charge. Best is a low as possible for your needs. I charge my cars to 60% during summer and 70 during winter.

The BYD e2 Honor Edition is based on BYD's e-Platform 3.0 and is equipped with the company's blade batteries with LFP technology with a choice of 48 or 57.6 kWh capacity. The electric crossover has a heat pump and fast charging capabilities. According to the CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) cycle, the range is 420 and 508 kilometers - so realistically 350 and 450.

so this mod does not benefit tesla drivers but other drivers on the road, will you be able to blind other drivers who dont dip their lights to let them know their lights are on full beam

No. It's a superior lighting experience for the Tesla driver. Even if you illegally leave your highbeams on even when passing other drivers, you'd be blinding them a good bit, thus decreasing your own safety as you pass them by.

Many Tesla have bad headlights and it feels like they are using long distance headlight when they use short one. Very strong light observed in many of them and that might be fixed in the new highland

They did piss off me when I am driving on the oppsite direction because it is very high and strong :D . Even if Tesla is coming from back I can see how bad is the headlight. @@tomooo2637

Does anyone believe that FSD (true and full) will be possible with the computational power and sensor suite available on any Tesla Model to date? Yet Tesla keeps offering the feature and consumers are paying quite the price. Time. For a class action lawsuit.

Only on HW4 equipped vehicles I would say. However by the time FSD is fully functional I think HW5 or 6 would be equipped.
