My 2018 Tesla model S windows would get 3/4 of the way up and then stop and go back down. This was super frustrating and when I took it to Tesla, they recalibrated it, but no luck same problem still.
 Tesla service recommended replacing the window, regulator motors, and assembly. This, as you can imagine was very costly and since I could nudge the windows up, I held off.
As a shot in the dark, I tried wiping some dry graphite lubricant on the window seals . This seems to have done the trick. It’s been holding up two months strong and I’ve washed my car. It’s been rained on and still the problem is not returned..
Disclaimer I don’t know what the long-term effects of graphite on rubber will be so I can’t recommend you do this for your car. It was perfect fix for me. Also, the graphite is a little bit shinier than the natural rubber so you may be able to see it and there’s a potential of it rubbing off on your hands or clothing..
