Do you realize how much money you can save on colonoscopies with the flexible borescope you have? 😉😂

....so what is your take on flexible vs rigid probe like you have in this video ??
@FClassJohn
@FClassJohn 2 года назад
They both have their place. For me in the shop the ridgid as far better and faster to use but when I’m at matches the flexible is the only way to go.

being that the rod is metal, have you had any problem with it scratching the barrel or should i have any concerns ordering one?

Will the ridged rod fit in a 20 caliber?

John, who makes those bore guides for use when the barrel is off the gun? Thanks!

I have this same model scope. I recently took this scope to a retailer to inspect a brand new rifle I ordered from them. Good thing I did. I seen a fairly large tooling gouge in the bore over hallway down the bore. The 3 sales people behind the counter seen the damage also. They were out of words. They took the rifle back and reordered me a new one, no questions ask. If I didn’t have the Teslong I would have been shooting a $2k gun that was not accurate to its potential. I would have never known anything about the rifle. Just buy one and enjoy the investment.

This is their newer model that actually focuses ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eJFolWCYGug.html, otherwise you have to just adjust the mirror to focus on the other models.

Anyone know what bore rod guide he's using? I would love to find a short one like that for my Egyptian Hakim and FN-49!

Teslong bore scopes are the best thing since sliced bread John; hands down. If you don't own now, buy one before the bombings begin.

I would love to see them make a 17 cal probe for my hornet. I have a 20 cal flexible cable only borescope and a general use endoscope with 3-way cameras and a screen for home and auto repairs. I could not get the cable one to work with any android device, only windows pc

I've got the version that comes with the dedicated monitor, but the scope is flexible- going to play with the idea of converting it temporarily into a rigid version by using a thing aluminium tube , I think I have such a tube that should be thin enough to still go into my bore...

I like my Teslong borescopes. I was an early buyer of the flexible model and found Teslong to be first, interested in shooter's needs and second, responsive to shooter's needs. I also bought the rigid model with a viewer when it became avaliable.

The problem is the monitor is IPS or Twisted ( im not an expert) the field of view is pretty narrow. Other than that boomin unit!

John I bought the exact one several months back and it’s a lot clearer than the old Lyman I had been using for years. Never could bring myself to fork out over a grand for the Hawkeye even they are clear and very fragile. Thanks for the review and explanation on a few things I had in question. I’ve tried all of the mirrors but wished they had an alignment tip for several different cals. I’m running a 7mm and always have the wiggle problem for close and far in clarity.

That is the two scopes I use for essentially the same reasons- once the mirror’s adjusted, the resolution great for my purposes. My first scope was a Lyman with remedial resolution that graces my historical boneyard.

Good review John! I’ve had one of these (same model) for 2 years and it’s been indispensable. My only suggestion to Teslong would be to lengthen the cable by a couple of feet. I’ve almost dropped that monitor too often when inserting the cable into the chamber.

I bought this exact model however I found my probe to be slightly bent. I contacted customer service and they got me a replacement probe for free. I didn't even have to pay shipping. A+ job of there customer service department!

I purchased this exact Teslong model a couple months ago. John is spot on in his review. The separate 4.5” monitor avoids laptop and wifi connections. My cleaning process is now changed because of this borescope. I thought I had a clean barrel before because the last couple patches were clean. Wrong! To clean better/thoroughly you must have a borescope. At $150 this is a great value.
@jakedubois735
@jakedubois735 Год назад
So, you’re saying that this borescope doesn’t require a laptop connection?
@davestein4162
@davestein4162 Год назад
@@jakedubois735 Some Teslong borescopes use a laptop for display. My Teslong model uses the 4.5” screen included and no laptop. I would order the same model again.
