OMG I just wrote this and saw the person below said the same thing! Moir and Tessa ARE the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers the greatest dance team in history and they did it on ice! I have to see one or two previous shows almost daily...I am very in love with these two artists
It's like they instinctively know what each other will do from entrance to reverence. It's not just the choreography. I love the way one of the young skaters described them. "They're like a fairytale."
Scott and Tessa are unique and inimitable. We witnessed a true ice dance ballet, in a Fred Astaire and Audrey Hepburn version, done with immense elegance, fluidity, and excellent choreography. They slid across the ice rink without hesitation, without mistakes, in a perfect dance playing two characters from the world of cinema. Scott and Tessa were very innovative in choosing and executing this dance piece.
Очень милая пара.наблюдаю за ними.нравятся вьступления детства молодости.очень просила я в некоторьх комментариях перевода речи разговоров интервью фигуристов на русский язьк.хочется побольше узнать за них.с миром.
I was lucky enough to see them live in Nice 2012. They are simply amazing: you make me want to climb on the seats and dance with them. And Scott seems more Fred Astaire then Fred Astaire in person!
@Diana It's not unusual for a skater to cut their fingers when they grab onto the blade of a ice skate to execute a move (e.g., twizzles, spins). When performing "Carmen," both Tessa and Scott needed bandages. Scott said something to the effect, "What's 'Carmen' without a little blood?"
Exactly, he should put his foot in his month. We are entitled to our opinions but he was way over the top. The proof was the final score. Eat your heart out.
I kind of agree with the commentator on some of his points - like it was a little open at times. We’re just accustomed to very very complicated footwork from them. Fantastic program never the less. They are so good at their characters. As a point of reference, that commentator was a big fan of Scott and Tessa. I don’t think he’s out of line. Listen again for all of the great things he says about them.
