Saw them in Cleveland. My girlfriend got her head smashed in between one of the floor monitors and a crowd surfer during Concealing fate part 1. Amos helped pull her and I up onto stage and to the side. After the song (it was the last one), the whole band came and checked on her to make sure she was okay. Far from a douche move. You guys killed it.
Depends on where the show is. I saw Tesseract and AAL play in Geneva where noone could clap in unison, and again in NYC where EVERYONE clapped perfectly.
The section from 2:12 to 3:32 is one of my favorite sections of the album. It's like a car going from 0 to 450 mph over the course of a minute. These guys are masters of dynamics.
2:13 onwards till the end of the song is like one hugeass musical phrase that's continuously nurtured and growing by Jamie alone... This guy is a fucking factory
Simply amazing.. you just don´t see that kind of drummers arround, it´s incredible how complicate are jamie´s drums but they are not complicate just to complicate the music... his drum lines are perfect.
My first experience hearing this band. I am needing more. I also need to hang out at the sickdrummers office or something . I live in the bay area and i dont hear about a quarter of the show you post videos of.
Anyone, including Dan can sing that song in stage with minimaly perfection. The problem wasn't Ashe's performance but the song itself, that requires a lot of controls impossible to keep out of the studio.
+BassHeadJazz I'm seeing them on their australian tour which is very soon and dan was rehearsing exile, I really hope they play it. It's tesseracts most underrated song
Hey, if you're going to do a multi-cam live shoot, why not have it be the quality of a 2002 cell phone camera, right?! It's not like HD cameras are all that affordable these days!
I think we had @ $30,000 worth of camera and gear at this show. We aren't Sick lighting magazine ;) We try but our results rely heavily on the other factors including sound and light people. We appreciate the support and thanks for taking the time to watch.
