Hi, I´m from Dominican Republic and i want to tuning my 4D56T engine. Can you give me some tricks, parts number and measures that i can do on my engine to improve power? Which block sleeves, ring piston and crank bearing do you use? Thanks
Good morning I did an internship 1 on Mitsubishi 4d56 engine but now I want to change the turbo with a variable geometry turbo, is this possible? I live in Marocco
aquein can help me i have a l200 mishubichi 4d56 turbo engine quadaves the problem is that the vehicle will have to turn warn after some time hasi loso one to see in the morning when iva calentava got to light now there is always
Good strong engines these 4d55 or 4d56 or the modernized Hyundai Kia Version the D4CB (differences are a Garret Turbo, 138BHP, Chain Drive, Common Rail).
Robby have you started this project yet??I’m looking to do the same thing I have an 86 Montero SW with km145 5speed transmission trying to do a direct swap. Most I’ve seen is you need to make sure it’s 13.25” across the bell house for this to work about to drop 3k on a used 4d56t.
the stock internals of these engine are good for up to 300hp and 500tq.. i own one as well and i am now upgrading my turbo.. u was running on 18psi of boost from a td0413t turbo. but the turbo gave out.. i am installing a td0516g now from an evo 6.. with a custom twin scroll manifold and some head work. im aiming for 200hp.
that a manual fuel pump engine with the wastegate turbo not VGT? VGT can make 30psi easily, 300hp I do not believe,it will blow a head and then the crank, pull the other one.
dieselrulesKO yes.. Manual VE injection pump.. Its dificult to get a vgt to work on these engines... Im running a metal head gasket.. The blocks are cast iron and liners are very thick these engine run a factory compression ratio of 21:1. With the thicker metal head gasket i was able to reduxe that to about 19:1 and that allowed me to push more boost into it.. The crankshaft and con rods are forged from factory.. Very strong..
