Also what we aren’t speaking about is how quick these various air stones clog and need to be thoroughly cleaned and soaked to disinfect. This can be quite an issue when oxygenating compost teas or fertilizer mixes full of salts.
OK so the bubbles look quite small on the MIcro stones but why not show it in same way as the others? Doesnt look good like that, makes it seem like you're hiding something
I was looking forward to seeing the comparison as I'm sure others were as well. It was kind of like the 4th of July fireworks without the grand finale!.... Ok. Maybe that is a bit extreme, but how about a video comparison that actually shows the Micro Stones the same way as the others. I still want to see it! Don't be lame and block my comment.
I think this review is really misleading, should have shown how much air was pushed while all hoses were in use. Forcing the air supply meant for 6 hoses through one hose will obviously produce more air flow lol.
I appreciate the effort you put into making this video, but what you neglected to do was presoak all of the air stones for at least a couple of hours. Also, the fact that you didn't show the most expensive ones individually is a little creepy.
What no one is doing is telling me the difference in dissolved oxygen....bubbles are fine but air stones purpose is to lift bad gasses that say fish generate to the surface and as the bubbles break the gases dissipate. But that’s not really adding oxygen to the water - it’s just removing toxic gases whether in a reservoir, pond, lake, aquarium. It will pick up temp and a little oxygen but not that much. The more bubbles the faster the gases will dissipate and the bigger the pump the more volume it can handle, lift, and move. Many times a paddle mixer is recommended to lift and get the deeper water off the bottom and up into the air stones range where the gases are raised to the surface to be released. Can you get a dissolved oxygen meter and test each with and without the diffuser and pumps like you did here but test the water to show which is providing more oxygen in the water. I want a high rate of DO for the roots particularly in summer when hot temps lower the DO. Water temp at 68F has more DO than say 85F.
wanna ask question, if we put a bigger air pump in a small bucket with single plant what would be the negative impact? If any? The pump which is designed for 5 gallons bucket to provide air thru air stone and we are feeding that much air to a single one litre jar. Will it create problems??
when using these air pump with multple outlets, do you need to close the other outlets?? so if the ecoplus has 4 outlets and i want 2 airstones what happens to the other air outlets? do i lose power?
