Be neat to temporarily wire up a tachometer to it to see the rpms values at different highway speeds in the overdrive speed and how that compares to modern overdrive cars.

I think it is. I sold it to its present owner in 2012. It is absolutely beautiful and the best of the fewer than 20 in existence. We are asking $98.8k.
@@ClassicPromenade That's a fair price. It's amazing how much the 5 extra inches of hood improve the looks of the 1946-1950 Packards. I once saw a snapshot of Alvan Macauley and his wife alighting from their 1947 Custom Super Club Sedan. That was near the end of the Macauley era.
