I had a '65 impala SS with the floor shift, 327 air shocks in back so it was not a low rider and glass packs for mufflers. It was LOUD, Second best after the '59. I wish I still had that baby it was my first car and took me through 10 years and up and down the west coast several times. I loved it.

In Glendale AZ in 75 I owned one of these (396 ci), fantastic car. I worked at a farm that let us fill our tanks from the farm, I put diesel in by mistake. (car has a 26gl tank) and the car ran ok but smoked like crazy. I just kept adding gasoline until it cleared out. Wish I could have bought this one in video. Enjoyed the ride!

Wiring issue with the driver taillight. That's why the turn signal wasn't blinking and when you drove up seen it was out.

I believe from all of the GM vehicles. If a 327 sits for a while. The valve guides begin to "dry". Once they get oil again. Light gray smoke will go away. Just some old gearhead that has been a car nutt since before I can remember. The only Big 3 that I have not personally owned was MOPAR.

This car is a beauty! Bro I used to own this same model/year! I will tell you, never had so much fun with a car! jumping train tracks, being chased ( I wont give more details), cruising on strips, and sleeping in the back seat. man I loved my baby! so proud and happy to of owned this year of car!!!

Got to ride around n one back n 78 79 327 4 speed we left black marks all over jax beach n palm valley FL still the funnest time I ever had n I was 12 years old thx to the US Dale stationed n mayport
