I had the 66 SS with the 396 375 horsepower, it was a Beast getting the power on the ground with a positive traction rear end was a Challenge

Sweeeeet! There's no ear candy like the exhaust note of a big-block Chevy coming out of a set of side pipes, especially from inside of the car. That's a good price for a big-block/4-spd. C3, even if the engine isn't original to the car. The L-88 hood is already on there, now all that is needed is some white Baldwin-Motion stripes to create a nice little tribute cruiser. 😄👍🇺🇸

You can go any were in the world to buy a car & truck but if you go pass maple motors you went to far because they have the best deal own wheels and IAM sure they would be willing to work with price as much as possible folks remember to buy from maple motors

I just spent a year bringing one of these back from the dead. Numbers matching 68 small block 327 3 speed coupe in safari yellow. True barn find that sat for 20+ years so I got her at a steal. Nothing special but absolutely no frame rust or birdcage rot. Had more things fixed rebuilt or replaced than I can list but she’s still mostly original. She’s getting straight pipes with new headers right now. Then interior and paint correction. By the time I’m done everything is going to work and she’s going to drive like a brand new 53 year old car. Totally worth it.

Plus it’s a sports car not a race car and at 54 years old these frames can’t take it without reinforcements welded on. 300+ horses is good enough for the cruising I do. If I want to go fast I’ll drive my supercharged 392 dodge charger ☺️ baby is a monster.

As we know, vettes are fiberglass. If the core support and frame are good, only surface rust, then things like wipers, horn, brakes, fuel and brake lines can be fixed without breaking the bank. Seems like the motor is OK, no blue smoke and the trans shifted nice, probably got some life left in the clutch too. The cars are priced decent as long they aren't purposely hiding major problems.

Car looks great. But do you put an automatic transmission in neutral when you take your foot off the gas? Why on a stick shift you put in neutral? Too many things not working.

Better on the clutch to pop it in neutral as you roll up to a red light, not good on the throwout bearing to sit with the clutch depressed any longer than necessary.

Do the gauges in any of these cars work? Seems like a broken record. There's a switch on the bottom of the dash that raises the cowl, which allows the wipers to move. I have a 68.

I have a 69 and all my gauges work, well, if you tap the clock it’ll run for about a half an hour. I’ll get that fixed.

I found your channel 2 days ago and I have watched about 10 of your videos you have some really nice looking cars but for this one $27,000 seems a bit much when none of the gauges work and you don't have windshield wipers, I think when it warms up outside enough to get out the motorcycles my wife and I will come down to check you guys out 🇺🇸💪

front tires need balanced maybe even checked for tire wobble(knot/slipped belt..etc...) ,,saw shimmy/vibration in steering wheel

I’ve got a 72 coup with a modern 350 fueli 350HP a new 5 speed manual,air cond, power everything, leather, side pipes , high perf suspension and everything on my car works. If this car is worth 30K my cars gota be worth 50K.

@@craigscott5661 cool, just weird almost all these cars have so many normal inspection things not maintained/working , never a good sign for the package overall condition of a buy when easy stuff to fix does not work when you look at buying, it shows a previous owner(s) who did not really car about maintenance/up keep.

Just wondering why you steer with one hand on inside of wheel? That's a bad habit & will get you in loads of trouble if you have to quickly divert the direction you're turning. No No!

It's a 4-speed. What are you going to do, put your shifter hand back on the wheel between each shift? Come on man, nobody does that.
