@fratzogmopars That old guy was Bill Hickman, one of the best stuntman drivers ever. He also drove in the movies, The French Connection and The 7 Ups. It's called a script. 😊
@joeR203 The wife and I spent today at "Fishermans Wharf" in San Francisco. 😎 Saw a Red 68' Fastback cruising by and thought of the movie. I'm going to buy a Lotto Ticket just in case! 😉
fords best body style of all time; my parents had a blue one with white stripes and a white interior. the first car I remember them having they traded it in for a Plymouth satellite because the 3rd son was on the way.
❤ it. My favorite car of all cars in the world. My brother had one just like it in 1973 . But it was midnight blue . He totaled it with a light pole in the passenger seat floorboard. 😢
Nobody picked up on the fact this 68 had no rear quarter marker lights . 67's have no marker lights while 68's have front fender and rear quarter marker lights .
@@hbmustangs Early (before Feb 15) 68 Mustangs came with recessed surface mounted quarter panel reflectors that had body colored bezels around them. Later models came with surface mounted reflectors that had chrome trim around them. While it would be easier to fill in the holes for the later version, it is most likely that the quarters were replaced .
In your parking lot where your classic Chevies are a dime a dozen, this big block fastback Mustang is a rare treat especially with a 4 speed. You got a real nice driver Bullitt tribute there! The reason why you were going 60 mph on a main street is because the car is packing big gears in the rear end , whoever built this tribute forgot or neglected to change the speedometer sprocket to compensate the gear change to make an accurate speedo reading. Very nice Mustang!!!
I look forward to your fine automobiles that you show on a constant basis thanks for your work. I need a little more change in my pocket and then I can come see you.
Cool bullitt mustang, with Steve MC Queen in the Best cars chasing, in this awsome movie, great video great performance and testdriving, thanks Nick stay cool 😎 😎 😊 🤟 😊😊
Beautiful Mustang with an awesome motor. 390 S Code Mustangs are rare. Most 1st generation Mustangs are small blocks because the 390 was a big chunk of money to add on to the standard Mustang. Not surprised this sold fast. Excellent car 💯.
Love the official JJZ 109 licence plates. Legendary dark highland green mustang GT fastback that started the very first high speed car chase scene in cinematic history!!!
They might have put 5 gallons of gas in it & then took it out for a test beat of their own!!! Hey Nick, I had a 69 mach 1 and it had a rim horn on the steering wheel & it looks like that has one too so check it out. I might be wrong but it don't hurt to look. Very nice car man !!!
Stang broke down a few times after jumping SF hills. Charger withstood entire filming. McQueen wanted to buy the Mustang but didn't do it for some reason.
Man i got no chance to get that. 😪 Start a list of those wanting one. I have a 68 coupe and a 68 cougar. I want a 68 fastback with art least a 351 in it. But if it's a 302 i can solve that but need something to start with. Lol
This 68 is a very nice driver. Sounds like the tranny is going to need going through and those fans were really load. I wonder what the price was on this one? I am sure it will make the new owner happy.
The reason the mirrors are gone because this was a movie car. I don't think these guys knew what they had. the car's worth a fortune. One of the movie cars. i wonder what they sold it for.
