Had one just like that in the late eighties. It had the 305 with a 4speed, put a Hurst shifter in it! Same color, they must have made a bunch in that color! Had t tops and a nicer interior! Sold it and bought a nice boat, met a nice girl boating and got married , we had a child and the rest is history! Married 29 years! You brought back some memories with that Z28! Why do I love this car? Lol... I just watched the video of the maroon/candy apple red firebird esprit"dresses up TransAm, the 1978 or 77 TransAm with the gold snow flake rims, the silver 1981 TransAm that was absolutely beautiful! And the indiacpoulus Z28 as well. I'll tell u, we as your fans get hooked watching and I can only imagine how hard it's got to be to par with these cars. Even as a dealer. But, u do a great job man. I definitely enjoy watching your channel. 💯! I was born in the 80's and these cars have a special place in my heart. Like I've mentioned in comments before that my Father had a brand new 77 TransAm and he got my mother the Silver 79 TransAm brand new and his last TransAm was the 1993 Pontiac TransAm that he drove off the showroom floor, black with the dark charcoal leather interior. He said that his first brand new car was a dodge duster that was hunter green. Idk, u just do a great job at what u do. It's a dream job for many...lol. Definitely glad I'm subscribed to your channel and we're gonna make it out there one of these days. My cousin lives a few miles from Maple Motors. But, we live in Florida. And honestly my Father is in the Hospital at the age of 68 and we find out tomorrow if he's going to have heart surgery. Its been a rough week with him having to be there. But, he watches u with me. We just need some good oh Prayers. He was the one that told me that Maple Motors was close to there house. Which is my cousin Misty and he's visited with my uncle/his older brother out of 12 siblings...lol. My Grandma and Grandaddy had alot of kids...lol. I have 2 older brothers and a younger sister. Which we're all older. 32, 38, 43 and 44. I know, I'd probably over went this comment a lil far. But, you're a celebrity to me. So, please pray for my Dad. Thanks man

For the price, you have a running car. With a little investment, you have a very nice 3rd Generation Camaro that you can upgrade and fix on the cheap (this era has a lot of parts available on the internet.) A very nice-looking car to customize.

Although there are some dash light issues , this is a real nice Z. Mechanics Special , I see this one being an excellent starting point to restore or modify

I think the piece of paper over the oil pressure gage may be a shim that is part of the cluster assembly. We still own an 84 Camaro Z28 we purchased new. It also has a similar looking paper falling down over the oil pressure gage. Been this way for years, but not worth tearing the dash apart to fix!!!

I had an '85 back in the day, I swapped in a 454 and what a blast to drive.

I had an 83 brings back lots of memories, ill be honei...it was not fast, not a great year for a 305 V8 but...still fun car i retloved driving for about three years in the 90s

No cracks in the dash . That alone is a winner....

The horn may not work because you unhooked the wipers. They may be on the same ground circuit

It needs a little love, but at the price you're selling it at, it's a steal. The reason the check engine light it on is because the previous owner basically deleted the computer by putting an aftermarket 4 barrel carb on it lol

I’m a sucker for 3rd gens. Had 2 89’s in the past. Not fast by any means but compared to other cars from that period they felt like they were on rails in the turns. Fun cars
