Awe yeah, remember when these came out brand new, they were the coolest truck on the road, performance was a little disappointing for having the big motor, so anyone that's interested in this truck, don't shy away from it because it's not original under the hood, because back in the day when you drove one , it was like these trucks would be badass if it had about 200 more horsepower, they was rated at 190 horsepower back then and felt like it. But we still would have given a left nut to have one, they're cool .

It's about torque they didn't make a lot of horsepower but they made a shit ton of torque .

Looks brand new. The Gear Vendor OD unit makes it so much more desirable - especially on the highway, with the 3.73 gearset.

Great truck, always loved the SS 454's the only thing I would do is change out those mufflers to something that would make it sound a whole lot better. Great video Nick!!

Matt from Offtheranch uses a drone often in some of his drives, I think it could be fun for you or provide new options for you when making a video. I only mention it cause I was not sure a shot you used was with a drone it looked elevated quite a bit. Nice truck to many of the new trucks now are bloated with tech that breaks or bloats truck prices far to high.

Love this truck, but for the life of me I will never understand why somebody goes thru the trouble of putting on a set of headers and then hook them up to single exhaust all the way back. That's like installing free flow and changing your mind afterwards so they restrict it with a single pipe from collectors to a Y back. A 454 bored 30 over wants to breathe, not cough or strain to breathe.

I remember when this truck came out. It was the one to have for a Chevy guy. I don’t know why you are showing us this truck if someone already has it on hold. You remind me of the hot cheer leader back in high school that walked around in the short skirt. This is what you could have but you are never going to get it. Just a truck tease.

That's a lot of truck for very little considering the condition it's in. People are charging 10 and 11k for a ragged out ss. I just want to know is it a 4 bolt 454 or a 2 bolt. Considering they put both versions of the 454 in the ss
