Chief, a cruiser has a low seat height(a known characteristic of theirs), they pick up their speed a little slower &you sit more upright occasionally with feet set forward. Great for long ride trips!🏍️👍😇🤓 Doug
Great video... I agree and think shadows are one of the most underestimated bikes out there... Your Honda “made with precision” comment was right on target. 🎯 I liked your honest opinion about the bike and enjoyed the comments about the passersby. 😂👍🏻
That slow rev/rpm’s are great for the longevity of the motor as well. Japanese entered the manufacturing industry as a “reliable” partner. They make great stuff; always have.
Just got a 2009 Honda Shadow Aero with the Cobra Streetrods. Sounds fantastic! It isn't too loud, but it's just loud enough to where I can hear what the engine is doing through my helmet and earplugs.
Sweet drive 315👍 I have a 2012 shadow phantom that I just got used....been cleaning it and fixing it up! Shadows are awesome and fun to ride..good performance and light for a cruiser..I love mine👍👍
Loved this video. Would enjoy more cruiser videos from you, were you to get a cruiser. Like your style of narrative. I'm a beginner biker, looking forward to getting my first bike....Honda Shadow 750 is on my short list.
Thanks for watching and subscribe! I actually dont have it anymore but i do have 5 motorcycles currently on my channel, check out what i have on my channel!
Yeah it's a good bike I'm 6'1 and it's pretty comfortable, got the short pipes V&H sounds really good, wish gearing and reving were a little higher, overall a great bike
@@Drive315 haha, this is just a username I've kept for way too long. I'm hoping for some kind of Shadow, ideally 2010-up but would settle for the right older one if it has a single carb and shaft drive. Seems like across the board though if they were maintained they are real workhorses. Stay safe!
I am currently shopping for a Honda shadow phantom 750. The more i see these bikes the more i like them! I cant wait to pick one up! I always felt like harleys are overrated and i havent found anything about a harley that i cant find in some other bike.
Thanks for watching and subscribe! The 750 is much lighter and handles better, but the 1300 is way more powerful and cruises effortlessly on the highway. Check out my channel to see what bikes i currently have in my garage!
Phantom is part of the name. There are variations (mainly the fenders, pipes and or seat, I'm guessing?), the Shadow, Shadow Aero, Shadow Spirit, Shadow Phantom... maybe others. Man, that is a terrible place for the key. I can see already I'm going to be forgetting the key and leaving it in the bike, for anyone to make off with my bike. All the wiring for the lights is jammed up behind the bulb in the front headlight, that's why they put the turn signal indicator on the front fork.
Ive never ridden before and i would love a cruiser as my first bike, would this be a good one or too heavy? WHich cruisers are a good choice for a first bike? IM 53 years old
Thanks for watching and subscribe! This 750 is a fine motorcycle, easy to ride and handles well. The cruiser i have is a honda vtx1300c. Much heavier but alot more power as well
Who gives a f***** whether it's a Honda or a schmonda. It's about how it feels to ride. I love the video. I'm new to bikes. Been driving cars for over 30 years and thinking of getting the A license next year and buying this sweet ride. Would that serve as a good first bike?
Thanks for watching and subscribe! You will fit totally fine on the bike, the more relevant issue is if you will outgrow the power of a 750… i have a vtx1300 and a vtx1800 (they both much heavier but both have way more power)
"I like cruising around the golf course when I test ride bikes" ....until you get a golf ball off the noodle lol..... My friend's parents used to belong to a club and the 1st hold ran parallel to a poplar side road....they said at least once a week someone slices a ball into someone's windshield....
@@Drive315 I was half joking but it's something to watch for....I used to ride past a golf course and if I was running up the hole, I'd be watching to see if anyone was teeing off at the pin. If they were in mid swing I was ready to dodge the ball if they sliced it lol. It wouldn't hurt you if it bounced off your helmet but if you got it in the chest? OUCH. If you've ridden enough you know what a june bug feels like at 70 so imagine a golf ball...You'd have a nice mark to show off though hahahha
Thanks for watching and subscribe! This bike was nice and sounded great, but compared to a honda vtx1300 its light and underpowered! I have 7 motorcycles currently check them all out on my channel
