Decided to clear some snow at the end of the lot so what better way than to use a big truck! Right after we jump the battery lol. Then I test drive it, but there was so much snow on top it kept flying everywhere haha.
@Darwin's Puppeteer I always been a Chevy guy but I got a 06 F150 supercab 5.4L Fx4 And I love it.the interior was way before its time.the exterior is awesome and still looks good to this day!
I've always been a fan of Ford until recently. In 2006, I bought a brand new loaded F-150 Lariat for $41,000. I pay it off in July, but I don't think it'd last that long. It leaks oil, going to need a new fuel pump soon, needs a new power steering pump, the transmission slips, it recently developed a very rough idle, when turning/accelorating you get a shaky feeling from the rear end. It has about 120k miles now. I'm trading it off for a 2013 Honda CR-V next week. Very disppointed in Ford.
I have an 04 f-150 that been souped after i fixed the factory flaws such as front rotors and replaced the trans. at 90k when the o.d. went out now i have an 9 inch rear end drag radials donaldson powercore system on the new 6.8 Crow&Johnson 650hp engine with blendright headers and magnaflow exhaust runs on pump ga and will do 10.50 all day long, you should see the kids in there vettes beamers and imports when they hear me pull along side its really funny.
my 1st truck im buying when moving to ohio from australia its cheap to live and buy cars ,homes in usa australia is too expensive to live in oz this f150 costs $25,000 IN MELBOURNE AU
The RangersEdge Aww that's actually one of my favorite year models. I haven't done a whole lot of work on those. The only thing I've done was change spark plugs. Except I never changed the ones on the last two cylinders.
I ain't gonna agree or hate cause im a ford guy but lots of people dont like the triton so i see were ur commin from the 5.4 is the better of the 2 which is 4.6 but really people only have spark plug issues otherwise they last a long time
