This games seriously looks like it needs another year of development at least

I'd hate to be THAT guy but... Man is this game the very definition of feeling "Mid" I really hope I eat my words later down the line. But for rn, Tis barely seeming like it's worth a nod.

60-70 fps on a 4070ti at 1080p, had to enable frame generation to hit a stable 144 fps. This game needs to be optimized.

They need to add houses, for me this is non-negotiable. The fundamentals to TDU were Dealerships and customisable houses with their own garages. If they don’t add them then the devs have failed to capture what TDU is about.

The game looks and sounds great, I just hope the devs add a offline race mode, more storage for cars, and possibly more density in the city like vehicles on road and npcs walking about

We need the GPS on the screen inside the car just like in the previous test drive and we need the ability to go through different menus on the screen

I found the demo underwhelming,graphically not the best looker. Preformance was choppy. It crashed after 25mins.

Car sounds are nice, but some cars sound very bad and gear shifts are very slow and simple. I hope they increase the sound a little more or we can add and adjust the exhaust to the vehicle and increase the vehicle sound even more.

This game looks and feels like trash 🚮 Handling sucks, damage model is like crumpled paper, the city looks like a pixel box, no peds no traffic like this is hongkong. No offline, no properties and no casino ? need for speed unbound runs/looks better and it’s 10x more fun.

The first person animation is poo, the performance is pretty bad. But the gameplay is fun so far and it looks great for how big the map is. Hopefully the launch addresses some of the issues

This game is irrefutably not ready. A lot of cars have blurry headlights and taillights, characters look very unrefined as well as the cutscenes. Audio is good but there is an exceptional amount of work needed still. And I’m unsure a 2024 release is far too soon.

This game looks empty and boring. The Crew and Forza Horizon really Raised the bar on open world racing games. test Drive Solar Crown just doesn’t match up. Yes I played the Demo. It crashed twice on the and glitched. Hopefully they’ll fix that.

I hope there's a setting for camera shake, i didn't notice it in the video. Also i am a 1st view type of driver. Head movement is needed and also horizontal and vertical g-force simulation. Lastly, ajustable fov in interior view.

Horizon definitely feels more like a real car on wheel than this game. It just sucks that you have to fix setting for each car. This game is definitely way to tight. It’s got that strange feel like a need for speed game. I wish they just made asseto corsa but like this lmao. That would be great.

Game looks good. If you don't think the offroad buggy is real like that, then you need to come to the south in America. Mudding trucks pulling eachother seeing whose more powerful. Swamp vehicles racing. I've even seen U-Haul boxtrucks mudding jumping mud hills

People who complain about poor performance need to get a better PC. its 2024 stop rocking a 1660 super and expecting 4K 120 FPS. Even 30 series cards are getting older. Its part of the game. If you want good graphics with good FPS then you need to invest in a Good Graphics card. I personally hate that there are no houses. I almost did not buy the game because of this. Also why can I not pop the hood of a car. I think they were working with limited funds and needed to get the game out seeing as it was already delayed a year.

Wish there was an offline mode. And the multiple editions I see cars hope not exclusive but early access and not permanent locked for normal users

Steering wheel sucks. Really bad. The devs talked down on FH5's physics, but this game's physics is horrendous. My first thoughts: 1. Physics - Very difficult to drift. Every time I get my car to oversteer, the game almost tries to get grip back onto my wheels. It's a weird feeling and doesn't feel smooth at all. I'm not a huge fan of FH5, but at least you can chain drifts together (after some wheel tuning). 2. Map - This I actually really like. Aside from the fact that there isn't any life (pedestrians walking around and such), the map actually looks good at first glance. Compared to FH5, which is mostly a desolate map with towns sprinkled here and there, this map is loaded with details. 3. Graphics - This game seems to have optimization issues. With high graphics on a 4090 card, this game still struggles to keep a high FPS on high settings. This is unfortunate cause the game would look amazing with the map being as detailed as it is. 4. Wheel support - This game supports wheels, but it feels horrendous! It almost feels like I have to turn my steering wheel a whole 360 degrees for the car to do anything meaningful. Small wheel movements does not affect the car much at all. Centering sucks. Feedback is extremely dampened. You feel vibrations, but you don't get a good sense of what the car is doing because you only feel wheel resistance without much detail.

Game looks like trash. Some people say it’s good. Are you sure your not playing Forza Horizon 5? I swear Horizon 2 on 360 looks just as good as solar crown maybe better. And the game needs 17GB Vram on Ultra. For these graphics???? What are they smoking at Nacon? The nerve to cancel last gen version because it’s too demanding. Give it to Turn 10 they’ll make it work on the freaking 360.

After playing the steam demo version, I summarized few serious problems, I hope you can report/tell the Test Drive Unlimited Official to fix/improve these issues before publishing the game because it is a memorable game for all of us, we all hope to have playful and enjoyable game experiences for tdusc 1. I use gtx1650 to play mid graphic quality, the graphic performance is very poor but I still experience frequently game crashes, I don’t know why 2. The frame is very low even at lowest graphic quality , the game is seem like stuck and un-fluent. 3. There is no option for buying property, club, casino which I am very disappointed because these are my favorite features from tdu2. 3. The racing experience is weird, like there are some small materials in front of the vehicle then it would automatically spin and lose control.

definitely In-line with the previous TDU games where the preset avatar are butt ugly. Like cmon I wanted to be an e-girl with a ferrari in the game but at best I can be Female NPC with a Ferrari. Edit: I just want my character to look like Mila Rodrigues and I don't think that's happening in the demo lol so hopefully it's better at release

This is a real shame. I played the first game and enioyed it, then spent years playing the 2nd one. Still the best racing game I've ever played to this day, but this looks awful. The character models look like they haven't improved since the last game and the graphics look like a 2010 need for speed game. I think they have a lot more work to do before this becomes a success

it seems that gta 5 which is 10ish years old is a better car sim than this turd. a shame there is no car cosmetic damage, nor an FOV, nor the ability to see gps in the actual habitacle. car density is shit. npcs look hideous. and what's with the steering not being rendered on screen. Also, no pedestrian ? At all? the game feels dead. and everything there is feels like window dressing. better off playing forza at this point. which i vehemently dislike, mainly for the steering wheel horrible feeling. The force feedback doesn't really seem to be there either. The rpg mechanics do not make sense and the car customization is risible, just pick the last thing on the right and you have the best. Really disappointing.

I couldn't even download this game it gets stuck at 37% everytime and it's annoying so I'm not gonna be able to enjoy the game and two weeks goes by fast I've had a stable 14MBPs and it still won't download other games do but this one nope :D

i watched like 20 seconds of this video. This game looks like it came out in 2014. The cars look great, but the character models are bad. The roads are absurdly wide and there's such little traffic it looks dead.

I was disappointed by the performance of the demo. I have a 3060 12GB and I had to run on 1080p and even then I had to adjust the settings to low and even then I got mid 40's fps. Please do better devs!

The game looks incredible, but the upshifts and downshifts sound a little bit empty, you can’t beat the revs going down as you stab the clutch in, or when you hit the paddles, the sound just kinda disappears in between, kinda wrecks the car sound
