Look at Jordan truck sales in Carrollton GA...they don't sell trash ...no recaps...they cost a little more but it will go through inspection anywhere you take it . I got mine from there and have never dine anything but maintenance
Love to see this video on purchasing a used tractor. I’m considering used just to keep my insurance low until I have a year experience and then lease the company onto another company, buy a brand new truck and put a driver in my used one
Sounds like you have a plan bro ! I do not own neither of my trucks now .. I’ll get back up to where I was soon it’s just a down time for me right now I wish you all the success in your endeavors just please do not loose focus and stay consistent Thanks for watching
I miss gear basically all day and night lol !! At the end of the day I know how to recover from my mess ups. I do thank you for watching and I hope you stick around with me :)
@@BJAM0608 me too. I miss gears all the time. But I just watch the speedometer…. If I’m rolling in 9th at 45, and have to hard brake, and speed ends up at 25 mph, just gotta down shift straight to seventh and skip 8th. Learning that skipping gears is okay took my shifting to a whole new level. The human body is the trans synchronizer
Owner operators have to save where they can and they don't get the fuel economy that Manuel's can and you don't have to worry about it shifting or down shifting before you want it to
It is my first KW I bought legitimately! My first KW was at JCT in 2016 and I fell in love with it. This truck looks just like it and I’m pretty excited I own it :) You planning to get your own authority or leasing on to an established company already ?
@@BJAM0608 Thinking of buying my own, I definitely like the KW design. Just been informing myself on their reliability. Looking at something about the 40,000 price range with a good year. Im in Florida.
@@emondragon4444 I completely understand that ! The price of trucks has gone up a lot over the last year or so. One of the reasons I jumped on this one so quickly was the price and it’s what I was looking for. As far as reliability goes I think it’s decent so far. It’s currently in the shop and I’m going to make a video about the price of the repair and what not . I think it’s roughly 4K in repairs. I say if you’re gonna get a truck just do it and see where you land…
I have the same truck...679k miles. 3 years now, all good. Nice truck. People heatin on PACCAR, jokes on them. A lot of them out there. Everyone I talk to likes them.
@@BJAM0608 that's what's up Brother, congratulations Man. I'm about to lease purchase one from my job, I'm really excited 😊. Is there anyway we can stay I touch?
