Test firing 32 s&w long in my Swedish and Russian Nagat revolvers . And a test if 107 year old ammo still works , and also a watermelon assasination . ( no other fruits or vegetables were hurt during recording ) .
My revolver was made in1942 And I have put many rounds of .32 Smith and West long thru it and I've only had one failure to fire. Oddly the 7.62 ammunition hits high and to the right but the Smith and wesson 32 long hits at the point of aim
Were the 107 yro cartridges loaded with black powder or smokeless, and were the primers the old corrosive type. I have shot my Russian Nagant with new factory loaded nagant cartridges which had zero accuracy. I then reloaded them with a copper clad lead 7.62 wadcutter, and they shot well. So do .32 long lead round nose cartridges, but the brass does bulge slightly. I have found that American factory loaded .32 acp/7.65mm projectiles are undersized @.308 diameter. I reloaded them with .312 projectiles and they were accurate @25 yards in my .32 acp Colt 1903 Pistol and my 7.65mm 1914 Mauser Pistol. The .312 cartridges would not chamber in my 1970 West German Police Walther PP. I might try reolading with the 7.62 wadcutters and see if they work in the Walther accurately @25 yards.
They are initially. The thing is the more you fire the more power smokeless load through the less safe they become as the metal and structure of the gun fatigues. It's an any shot could be the last situation.
@@NitroDubzzz I started with rifles and shotguns when I was 12 (I'm 50 ) I then got into handguns in the military. I've been collecting and Shooting old classic pistols for about 20 years. I have both the guns in this video was well as several others.
I've been wanting to do this with my Nagant because the ppu 7.62 ammo I have shoots high and left. But I hear Aguila 32 long shoots just right and I have alot of that for my Smith and wesson. Is there an issue with the forcing cone on the nagant? Could this cause issues? As far as I know the original nagant cartridges fit up inside the barrel before firing so there would be no forcing cone to hit right?
How has the nagant revolver been affected using 32 S&W Long after a few years? I just bought a nagant revolver and want to know if there are any other catridges i can use in the gun
@@alexanderzatserkovniy8927 патрон неродной потому что . Там барабан рассверлен под 8,2 мм свинцовую пулю и .32 SW калибр в таком барабане болтается туда сюда.
