Thanks for the shout out! More cool film choices too - can't go wrong with those classics. I share your pain regards finding the perfect tent...I was a hair's breadth from pulling the trigger on a Durston xmid solid 2person the other day, but I just don't quite trust it to work in the worst of Britain's winds - and they can occur summer or winter, at high or slightly lower altitudes. It's a dilemma - packability and lightness vs gale force strength. In the end I have decided to stick with my Aquaquest Safari tarp, in a tent config, with either my super light bugnet with no floor, or perhaps I'll buy a sierra designs backcountry bivy to stick inside it when it's rougher weather/higher up a mountain.
