I am looking for a new family car. Electric cars are still the most affordable option here in Norway. But slowly but surely the benefits disappear, so you have to think a little more short-term than before.
After 183,000 km in a VW e-Golf, you have things you appreciate, and things you don't want again!
Very important for my / our needs, is interior space!
A car is more than something that takes me from A to B, so it has to give me a good feeling. Yes, I know I can't expect everything in the world, but you have to be able to demand something, from a designer...

The videos are made by an untrained mechanic! All the videos are therefore to be regarded as my own experiences, and no conclusion. The videos show what I have done, and the result does not always have to be as desired. Sometimes things go directly wrong, and then I try to find out what went wrong, and try to set a better example so that others will not have to make the same mistake as me.
The videos were filmed by myself, and it may have been unknowingly missing to include ALL the details. I try my best to find out what I do and what I find out. But getting cameras in the right places is not always easy!
Very important!!! Do not take any chances with safety, neither your own nor anyone else's! Never work under a car, without and double security. Things can happen, so you must always have extra safety in case something should break or overturn, etc.
Working on cars poses a danger no matter what. So be aware, and if you do not feel 100% sure of the result, rather ask others to help you or double check what you have done, before you expose yourself and others to danger!

Hello. I had the car for such a short time that I didn't have enough time to go deeper into the purely technical aspects of testing real driving length etc. But I hope to have better time for longer and more detailed tests in the future. Now Bjørn Nyland is a great channel to watch just such technical tests. www.youtube.com/@bjornnyland Bjørn has only focused on the purely technical! Hello. Of the ones I've tested in the last year, the Scenic is my personal favourite. The Aryia was almost even better to drive, but the Scenic is a nicer car, and the back seats are better to sit in than in the Aryia. Greeting Pål (Paul)

@@RichardHilditch Hello again. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the BYD Seal U yet. I sent a request to test it several months ago, but never got a response. But there are several dealers who sell them here, so I have to try another dealer. At least they look nice in pictures! I see others have spoken well of them! A problem here in Norway now is that people have worse credit, loans have become significantly more expensive. And more people are considering getting rid of expensive electric cars they bought a short time ago. The market is becoming very heavy, and many are also considering switching away from electric cars again. This presents major challenges for the suppliers, who have tried everything they can and build up to more expensive electric cars. Greeting Pål (Paul)
