After replacing the ignition coil and adjusting the carburetor, I went for a half-day 250km test ride to check how the engine was performing at various RPM ranges. Cal2 was going great and I was able to enjoy riding.
Thank you for your comment. I think that the California 2's up-handlebars and comfortable seat make it less tiring for the rider even when riding for long periods of time. When riding in that position, I get the impression that the field of vision is wide. In particular, the LM3 that I own is perfect for enjoying cornering on winding roads, but the Cal2 seems more suitable for long-distance touring while enjoying the scenery.
