Here is my in-DEPTH test of the new Leader Accessories 5 layer car cover.
Overall, great cover which saves me time in scraping my windshield and clearing snow off my vehicles.

Of course any wind complicates installation and retention. If you don’t have a carport or a garage to shelter your vehicle, seriously consider a seasonal shelter that can be assembled and ANCHORED during the warm month in the fall. It’s mor expensive but a much better alternative to wrestling with covers daily all winter long!

Pool Cover inserts (anchors) to hold down. They screw into concrete and can be lifted up or down when not in use.

I have to have this here in PA. Just use before or during snow or ice storms. Sunny days I take off & drive. Get one especially made for you car & style. Cost $129

It did not affect the color of my car, still white like teeth. The cover is great for moisture. It doesnt stick to the car. It works great.

I live in NY and i use similar cover for my honda accord. It does fly on the front during heavy wind lol. Those front elastic doesn’t work. I bought it during 2018. May be the front strap could work but my cover was only held up by the middle strap the rest part flies lol and mine was $200 something

Hi … I store my Acura TL ( black ) under my car port outside … If I cover my Acura with an all-weather car cover , will I ruin the paint when I remove it in spring time ? I got people telling me it’s better left uncovered in the snow than risking damaging the paint if moisture gets stuck between the paint and cover ? Is this true ? Or just a bunch on bs ?? Thanks

It never got into that situation this winter.. only snow. I'm sure I'll be testing it again this winter with ice.

Is it ok brush the snow of the cover then remove it. Does doing that makes the cover less waterproof ..not sure If you know what I mean ..for example heavy snow can be too much to move around and I want to know if it's OK to brush snow first then remove car and if that affects the insulation

I can see me f*ing with the straps laying on my back when there's 3 feet of snow or ice. No, I actually see me cutting the s.o.b. and learning my lesson before class. Good for high wind only otherwise I would ignore it.

Pointless review because we need to see the process of removing the cover with all the snow on it. I suspect it was not smooth snow removal and it took more time than simply using a soft broom or equivalent. Thanks though GL
