I've decided to do some of my old faves from when I used to demonstrate magic in magic shops. Please enjoy the "Black and White Surprise!" Questions always welcome in the comments connjure.com for lessons and more
At first:"yeah he's just flipping them around in his hands" When the colours start changing:"yeah he's just telepathically implanting the things I see into my mind"
Yeah at first I was like hes switching them around or it’s black on one side and white in the other but as soon as he brought other colours into the mix my brain started hurting from how confused he made me like whaaaaat
ah yes, getting hate on me for something that's true even if its 4 pieces with magnets on them and then he switches, isn't that still editing the part where he switches out??? "not everything you don't understand is editing weirdo" i know a lot more than you i can tell you that.
I know how this was done, the chip things are paid actors. They had played in the theater industry for a long time before joining the magic industry, thus they mastered the art of changing clothes fast. Also,I know them personally since we all went to highschool together. It was such a short lived memory.
“Aha, I saw that glimpse of white on the other side! I got you this time!” He then proceeded to change the colors completely, and now I’m just convinced he really is a magic man.
I was thinking white on one side black on the other. It’s like magicians automatically know the first assumption you’ll have, and they are almost always ready for it
@@jakethasnake3524 I know, sometimes it's like a puzzle and trying to find out the answer is trying to solve it. Sometimes you do and it makes you have a little boost, and sometimes you don't so you can still be amazed by the trick over and over.
Love how this guy always takes small seemingly easy tricks, so you are like “ooh I know exactly how he does it” And then he fucks your shit up and makes it 10000x more magical leaving you speechless.
Every time he comes on my screen I think “Ha! I figured it out this time!” then he proceeds to destroy everything I thought I knew. Well done. Farewell until you cross my screen once again.
I love these. He keeps you in the "I think I get what's happening" mindset just long enough that your brain melts even more when he does the real trick.
The inside of the coins have magnets and the colour circles are magnetic. When he rubs them together the colours move from one coin to the other and the colour changes.
@@DougConn I think there is a magnet or something. When he puts together coins the color changes. When he put the coins together but only white sides. The white sides changed. When he Put together black sides, black sides changed. I think it's a magnet or he is just removing the front color.
It was initially black on one side and white on the other. The new colors appeared because he slid the two coins over each other and the magnetic discs got transferred to the other... 👍🏻
What a clever trick. I really like seeing how magic is done because it makes me appreciate it all that much more. For some people it ruins the magic, for me it makes me appreciate the ingenuity
Oooooooo, I got it, black on one side white on the other. When you slide the two coins together the magnet attaches to the other side, showing a new color
I'm getting frustrated that I can't figure it out but its just showing how damn good a magician Conn is so my frustration gets melted away and I'm left with amazement
I actually used to have a set of these, they have a magnetic piece in each and when the coins click together the side shows the back, so each coin has a total of 6 sides
Nearly perfect, except for the part where u accidentally show that they have a black side and a white side, and I'm assuming the blue and green have some sort of sliding mechanism
I think this is like the only one I’m pretty sure I figured out. The two coins had to touch before they changed colors, meaning magnets were probably involved
He actually has the black and white cutouts on a penny look-alike stuff which are magnetic. When they stick they reveal the colour of the upside down cutout (Well I tried to explain 🤣)
From what I seen, I think the 2 buttons both has a black and a white side, and when the 2 buttons are rubbing against eachother they change colour, since there are 4 sides to the buttons hence there being 4 different colours. I seen white for a split second on the black button on his right hand. Also I love these videos keep them coming, I love trying to solve your magic but you fool me 9/10 times😂
me: thinking i’m the smartest man in the world cause he’s just flipping the coins also me: *sees him change the coin into a bunch of other colors* hahaha- what?!
@@kello2.077 Well I'll be damned. You're right. They do have little metal chips that come off and turn over. And when you overlap them or stack them, you can switch their colors.
Okay, this one I may have figured out: Magnetic coins with two-sided metallic plates on the sides? I mean, this way we could replicate the effect. This man clearly uses arcane magic.
I have a theory: so right at the start, he's got the two token things, and when we're distracted while he's talking, he uses his magic abilities to switch their places. Then when they start changing colours, he's just transfiguring them. See? All is explained
@E what? I'm sorry? Idk what you want me to say, this is literally the first time I've posted anything like this, I was just making a joke. Calm down, we're just here to watch some magic tricks. Why do you care so much? Jeez
I was like "well their both black on one side white on the other" Then they started changing colors on me and I no longer had a clue how he was doing it.
I was just about to shout out, "the coins are white on one side and black on the other!". Then, he starts pulling yellow, green and red coins out of thin air and I quickly shut my mouth. 🤐
Nice slight of hand there, dexterity in magic needs a lot of practice. People are attracted by motion. They think they will spot the trick but that's the whole trick. Love to see what you do.
There are peices on the chips that come off magnetically so when you put them close to eachother it takes off the top layer which reveals the true color.
Fun fact: Don't try and replay his videos to understand them. I have been here for 40 years. My wife and kids left me and I got fired from my job. My butt is beginning to fuse with the toilet I was on when I first saw this video and the police are coming after me for not paying my taxes. And still, I have no idea how the hell he made the white turn yellow. Edit: just got it
I usually don’t do comments like this but I felt the need to you are so sweet and lovable your magic tricks are amazing and overall you are awesome have a great day ✌🏻ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
it was actually colorful in the begining covered by the black and the white each side, then by mechanism the black and the white dissapear and the real color show and what mechanism type was that?is a mechanism with battery and change the color by click that coin in the middle whenever you want it?
