A-caster - Strat, B-caster - Tele. I have Tele and this sound very similar to b-caster

This was pretty tough. My guess is A is the Tele and B the Strat, but there were times I thought it was reversed

A: Tele; B-Strat. I didn't have an opinion until the bridge pickups.

I couldn't tell much in the neck pickup. However I think the bridge pickup reveals that the B caster is the Tele.

Fantastic video, thanks for taking the time to do this😎 What I've learnt is that this video has saved me a lot of dough......I had serious GAS for a Tele, thinking only those have that good ole boy country twang....no difference here people, move along🤔😉 And, remember only guitar geeks are watching this video and, we are struggling, your audience certainly won't know the difference😎

As an avid user of s-s-s Strats, here's my take (never played on Tele) Neck: A-caster - Strat B-caster - Tele Bridge: A-caster - Strat B-caster - Tele Based on tones purely, that's how I hear and expect.

My unqualified guess is the A-Caster made some tones I never heard from a tele, but I just have an old Squire myself.

Every time I notice a beautiful guitar sound it turns out to be a telecaster, which I don't like since I'm personally not a fan of its design. So it's hard for me to believe they sound so similar. Still, B has the tones and resonance I fell in love with, so I guess B is the telecaster. But I feel like this comparison is made to compare these guitars in the area they sound very similar instead of the areas where each of them shines

A is twangy on both pickups, B is thinner on both. A-tele, b-strat.

bridge pickup on acaster has more body than bcaster. acaster is the telecaster

I guessed the B was the Tele, but only because the quacky bridge pickup seems pretty obvious. So, please remind me, why do I want a Tele so bad again? WOW - I just checked the results video and had it wrong. The Strat is truly the more flexible guitar. Thanks!

A is a strat and B is a tele? I was listening for a more pronounced twang and I think B had it.

The bridge pickup reveals the difference, Tele (A) is much better. I do think the Strat neck pickup is better but the difference here isn't as noticeable.

as someone who have been playing strat and never once touch a tele: A: tele B: strat not sure if im right or wrong though. this is an old video. too lazy to search for the answer Update: im too curious so i search for it. im right. a is tele. b is strat

Anyone knows where I can buy A-Caster guitars? Out of curiosity, where is the solution? It doesn't really matter anymore since this video just talked me out of buying a Tele and saved me 2000 bucks. It would've been spent at the store that sponsored this video.;)

Not sure, but A-caster sound more similar to my strat, because i don't get feel on sound like on b-caster, but its very similar

Not easy to tell.. neck pick up was no diference at all. In bridge was diference, A was more fuller and b thinner

Old video, but I'll reply anyway. They both sound great! But mostly the same. I couldn't say whoch was which. There really aren't much difference between a tele and and strat. Some people say that the bridge pickup on a strat is useless and that it's magic on a tele. Sure a weak bridge pup on a strat can sound weak and ice-picky but a similiar pickup on a tele would have similar weaknesses. And yet some people claim they can tell rosewood a maple boards apart, between different body woods. Some people even claim to hear a diff between a one-piece maple neck and a maple neck with glued on maple board. Ridiculous. There's almost as most superstition and among guitar players as there are among high-end audiophiles. You know, types who claim they can hear earth shattering differences between different non-clipping hifi amplifiers with super low levels of distortion and flat frequency response , between different speaker cables, power cables, brand of CDR:s and even (non DSP.ed) digital sources.
