Here's Testament (Chuck Billy) and Savatage (Criss Oliva & John Olivia) on Canada's MuchMusic Power Hour, I decided to post just the interview parts of this, but I do have the whole show with commercials and all the music videos.
This was an awesome show, they also played Nuclear Assault - Trail Of Tears near the end as well, and Nuclear Assault joins the interview later on.
Enjoy!

He was as good on the guitar as bad as he was at interviews

@@nigelfarage4119 I don't think he was bad, he was just quiet and the music was his life, where Jon was the mad poet spokesman.

I didn't see it, at least it didn't hang around all that long. Metal is still alive and well, back then I sorta wish Metal wasn't split down the middle like it was. I'm pretty sure that's part of the reason grunge became popular was the constant bickering over which style of Metal is better.

Keep and eye out for my next upload friend. I've got a rare interview with Kiss on Power 30 from 1994, a very awkward interview, where Paul calls MuchMusic 'a bit spineless'. I'm going to upload it next, and later on some rare host segments from early Radio 1990 (1985 through 1986).

***** Of course they are not thrash, but this was how they presented the show. Power Hour at times would have 2 entirely different bands on at the same time, and it wouldn't make any sense. I remember one show where Slayer and Alice In Chains were on at the same time, and they tried to put the 2 bands in the same genre, which isn't true.
