I discover the correct jig head fishing technique for a stand up jig head by testing two different retrieves for flat bottom jig heads in a pool. Flat jig heads (or stand up jigheads) mimic something feeding on the bottom by using the flat bottom of the jig head to cause the jig head fishing lure to stand up from the bottom.
