If i were rich would I be able to purchase one of this accelerators just to play with it? Or do i need to justify its purchase? Eventually I would end up renting it so I get some money back but I would buy it mostly to experiment with extreme radiation levels. Might in fact build a facility for that, so people can irradiate objects for experiments, much better than the heavy cumbersome and tiny sample radioisotope irradiators.
