Testimonials on the screening of the documentary titled "Cursed spears" and Panel Discussion 

ሲቪል ሶሳይቲ ሪሶርስ ሴንተር ከፈረንሳይ ልማት ኤጀንሲ ባገኘው ድጋፍ የኢትዮጵያ ሲቪል ማህበረሰብ ተሳትፎ ፕሮግራምን እየተገበረ ይገኛል፡፡ የፕሮግራሙ አንዱ አካል የሆነው የሲቪል ማህበረሰብ ግንዛቤ እና እንቅስቃሴ ዘመቻ ሲሆን በሲቪል ማህበረሰብ ድርጅቶች መካከል የትብብር መድረክን ለመመስረት እንዲሁም በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ባሉ የተገለሉ ክልሎች ውስጥ የመደራጀት መብትን ማስተዋወቅ እና ሃገሪቷ ውስጥ ለሚገኙ የሲቪል ማህበረሰብ ድርጅቶች በፖሊሲ መቅረፅ እና ማሻሻል ላይ ያላቸውን ተፅዕኖ ለማሳደግ ብዝሃነት ያለው እና ፈጠራን ያማከለ መድረክን መፍጠር ያለመ ነው፡፡
በዚህም መሰረት ሲቪል ሶሳይቲ ሪሶርስ ሴንተር ፕሮፌሰር ኢቮ ስትሪከር እና ፕሮፌሰር አሉላ ፓንክረስት በጋራ ያዘጋጁትን “የተረገሙ ጦሮች ” የተሰኘ ዘጋቢ ፊልም ያሳየ ሲሆን እሱን ተከትሎም በሰላም ግንባታ ውስጥ ሃገር በቀል ጥበብን መጠቀም ላይ የሲቪል ማህበረሰቦች ሚና በሚል ርዕስ ላይ የፓናል ውይይት አካሂዷል፡፡
Civil society Resource Center with the generous support from Agence Française de Développement (AFD) is currently implementing The Ethiopian Civil Society Engagement Program (ECSEP). One of the program's components is the Annual Civil Society Awareness and Activism Campaign, which aims to establish and maintain a collaborative platform among civil society organizations (CSOs). The campaign also focuses on promoting and advocating for associational rights, especially in marginalized and remote areas of Ethiopia. It aims to create a diverse, pluralistic, and innovative space for CSOs, thereby enhancing their collective impact on policy reforms. As part of this initiative, the Civil Society Resource Center (CSRC) organized a screening of the documentary "Cursed Spears," co-created by Professor Ivo Strecker and Professor Alula Pankhurst. Additionally, a panel discussion was held, focusing on the role of civil society organizations in harnessing indigenous knowledge for peace-building.
