I’ve been using Bar Keeper’s Friend for quite a while. It definitely removes those grey marks. Unfortunately, within 3-6 months of cleaning my dishes with this product, it has taken off the glaze on my dinnerware! I thought I share this so others are aware that this might happen to their dishes.

Thanks for the tip! 2 quick questions. Are your plates similar to mine or stoneware? And, how many times do you think you scrubbed them before the glaze started looking dull?

My plates are the white wash from Juliska. I usually scrub about once a week & quite hard to get the marks off. By about 3-6 months, the glaze is dull. Juliska said this shouldn’t happen, so they replaced all my dishes at no cost. Amazing! However, the glaze wore off again with the 2nd set of dishes.

Barkeepers Friend works great. But we only eat stuff that needs a knife in our Noritake stoneware as it doesn't get those marks

I have Pfaltzgraff dishes and mugs that are horribly scratched. I called the company and she said they have a cleaner for that. I ordered it and it doesn't work at all. I also have some Bon Ami which I will try. If that doesn't work I will get the Barkeeper friend. I had the liquid one but I am out right now.

Just an FYI: Another channel used Turtle Wax Swirl and Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound. Both worked with minimal elbow grease. Be careful of patterned dishes.

Do you think this would also work inside of a white scratched crock pot?

I think it's fine. I'd try Barkeepers Friend in my crock pot. :)

@@AbbottsAtHome I read someone say that after multiple uses of barkeeper's friend it removed the glaze from the ceramic.
@AbbottsAtHome
@AbbottsAtHome 4 месяца назад
@@alwayssummer5354 I've never had that happen. And, it says that it's safe on ceramic. But, it's always possible that there is certain types of ceramics (or ways of making ceramics) that have thinner coatings. It's up to you. The scratches can be left alone. :)
