Fantastic simple idea that clearly works amazingly well. As I was watching I though to myself, that's perfect in an EDC kit. Usually plug spinners are chunks and heavy, well the ones I have are anyway. Sir you are a CHAMPION!
Mate this is so simple and clever and looks a lot easier to use than the commercial plug spinners. I am so going to search out these parts to make my own compact edc locksport spinner. Thanks so much for sharing another Rook Knight modification invention with us. Just awesome my friend, Cheers
That's pretty cool. A locksmith showed me how to make an improvised plug spinner just using a vise grip, spring steel wire, and a small flat screwdriver to hold the plug in place while you twist the wire, then pull back the small screwdriver and let it spin. Nice trick I learned as a rookie.
That's awesome. You never know when something like that will be needed in a pinch. One of the main reasons I watch lock picking RU-vid, someone out there is always willing to give free advice, information, ideas etc. I'll be happy to soak it all up like a sponge 🧽😁👍 have a good one. Thanks for share a cool story with me.
Hope all is well with you and yours brother haven’t talked to you in quite a long time. I’d have to say at the beginning of the COVID Lockdown. That’s a pretty damn cool little spinner. Works like charm😏👍
Thanks, I totally agree. I wonder why no companies haven't tried shrinking one down for edc. Maybe someday. Thanks for checking out the video. Have a great weekend 👍🏻
You now have locks well a plug spinner in the palm of your hand well one of your hand can not beat using a mouse trap spring the mouse will live to see an other day. Keep been creative in your creations.Did the tortoise just move lol keep well keep safe
Thank you my friend 🤜🤛 Who needs a trap, when you have a cat lol Thanks for the laugh brother Hope you have an awesome weekend All the best to you and your.
Thank you LPG, you have a good point. To make a long story short, I had many years of making dumb stuff out of junk lol, I wish I was better at giving direction. Anywho Hope you have a fantastic weekend my friend, thanks for checking the video out 👍🏻 all the best to you and yours.
@@RookKnight I didn’t mean anything by that. Just not sure what parts exactly that I would need or just hard to picture it in my head. It’s all good. Loved the video and was just teasing ya.
I have to ask. Do plug spinners only work great when not attached to the door? I would think there are other frictional forces at play due to the dead bolt or latching mechanisms.
There's still play when they're attached to a door. You may be able to feel it when you use your key in the door, the key kind turns easy then bites or grips(for lack of a better word). That bit off play, is all you need with a plug spinner. I've ever tried this one on my front door, and it would fine, so did the store bought one for that matter. Hope that helps 👍🏻
