I'm about to turn 57 years old this month and I have been watching the Chia Pet commercials almost my entire life. Every single Chia Pet commercial always demonstrated how the gooy slimmy seeds go on the outside of the pot. I have never seen a Chia Pet commercial not show it. LOL! Those Chia products were always so funny. Never bought one but they are a hoot. I think my favorite out of all the decades of Chia Pet commercials is the Chia Obama Pet. Too much. LOL! 🪴📺😆
Testing a Chia Pet to see if it works and says it failed all because you didn't read the instructions. 🙄 My grandmother used to have a lot of Chia Pets and they absolutely do work if you follow the instructions. Just like the George Foreman grill. It wasn't necessarily made to just speed up cooking at least from the infomercials I have seen many yrs ago. I remember it was supposed to help cut the fat from the food. This absolutely works too. I have an original family size one that was gifted to me when they first came out. The grill is angled and it comes with a little bowl-like thing you put at the end of the grill so when you cook the grease from the food travels down the angled grill into the bowl. True there isn't a temperature gauge but there is a timer, on mine anyway, and the instructions give you an idea of how long you should cook certain items. Or you can visually just check the food to see if it's done. It does work though. Just saying, yes, a lot of those things are crap but some of them do work well IF you follow the instructions.
Hey Sam just so you know, you actually have to get the shamwow wet with water first, then you wring it out so its only damp. If you don't do that the shammy won't be able to absorb liquid very well.

I'm surprised these products are even still out there as I remember these TV info-mercials YEARS ago the only difference is these products are now cheaper than 19.99 - 24.99 👍

Slap chop is meant to be used with the plastic blade cover that you put on the blades. Then screw on the clear funnel thingy so veggies or whatever your chopping doesn’t get trapped inside the blade mechanism
I love how he blames the chia pet for him not reading the instructions, or looking at the box, or watching the commercial, or having a basic concept of plants…
And then receive the product, not read the instructions let alone the description of the product and then make a video saying he is "testing" the product.

13:00 you can buy that cleaner thing since it's re-usable, and whenever you are washing clothes or something idk, you can also clean that and you don't have to spend as much money on paper towels
Yep I bought the star shower a few years back, still have it actually. When these first came out, they were the most stolen décor from your Christmas decorations outside, yep it was all over the local news. In fact I was outside one eve three days after I put it outside when a car drove up to steal mine, until they noticed me standing outside, then got back in their car and drove off
The fact that two grown men couldn’t understand the instructions of the Chia Pet is unsettling. I’m positive any 9yr old I know could follow those simple instructions.

Bought a Foreman Grill 25 years ago. Bought a larger one last year, but can’t get rid of the first one bc the dang thing still works great! Much easier than firing up the grill and standing iutside to cook a few things. Just make sure to season your food, otherwise it will taste very plain. Obviously. Use the shamwow for spills on the carpet. You kinda have to punch downward with the shamwow over the spot on the carpet, but really works great. Also great for cleaning large spills - holds a bunch of water, wring out in sink, and clean up some more.
I actually got a pack of two Shamwows at Aldi for $7 a few years back (wasn’t a knock off brand). I cut them into fours and they saved me SO MUCH paper towel.

Sam is the type of guy to test something without reading the instructions or understanding what it is for and call the product a failure. The failure is the tester.

I'm loving the long form content. Sam definitely underestimated how big pigs can be. They can also be quite aggressive when confronted so I'd say a pig is stronger than a dog.
OMG I have never seen two guys trying to explain something outside their generation. Chia pets had clear instructions, the tent was for children's beds INSIDE, but very amusing watching them try to figure things out. Now do landlines and pagers😂😂
I love Sam's videos, but am always curious if its satire that almost every product is used wrong, or if its just intentional to either frustrate people or just so ppl keep watching this type of video? LOL
