I always find black owned brands cater so much more to different undertones! A lot of brands struggle to provide anything other than very yellow or very pink. I can't think of many black owned brands that don't cater to, or at least try to cater to everyone! That's how it should be and it's a shame that we are so far away from inclusivity for everyone at this point.

preach. I had being the palest shade and its either very yellow or very pink, when I have neutral undertones. The only foundation that has ever matched was my morphe in 1.06 (cant afford fenty)

The PMG foundation is one of my best foundation matches EVER! And I've always struggled to find foundations that work. The best thing about Black-owned brands is that a lot of them ARE more inclusive to everyone on all ends of the spectrum.

Theory... Reason why Black owned makeup companies may cater to more people is because we do come in so many tones. Vanessa Williams to Lupita dramatics skin tones ranges which is nice to see. I'm just amazed that the makeup world in general still have not kicked themselves and got things right black owned or not.

I've found black-owned brands tend to be more inclusive with their shade ranges because people with darker skin tones know what it's like to not be able to find their shade so they tend to have one for everyone.

The Beauty Bakerie loose setting powder is the ONLY one I use now. It is incredible and nothing has ever even come close to it for me. It sets the make up all day and my make up does not budge! I love both the translucent one and the yellow one.

You should try to find smaller independent black owned brands and doing a full face of that to like kind of advertise for them in a way that’s not sponsored just to tell more people about it so more people know about their brand, if that makes sense I’m not good at explaining things but I think what you’re doing is amazing and your makeup looks incredible💙!!

STAY WOKE is word ♥ hope people learn more and keep an open heart. we're ALL human and deserve to be treated AS HUMANS. thank you for saying something. I do agree cream products are a bit tough to warm up to , but I find myself using them more and more, it's a bit hard with a brush to apply them on top because that tends to remove any concealing you've done underneath, so I decided to use my fingers for cream products [bronzer and blusher mainly] , it does take time [which I now have in summer] but it lays down a great finished look. it's more precise. [I learned all this today lol ] it's also nice to switch from the completely matte powdery look , I already lay down a lot of matte products so to have the blusher and bronzer be cream is great. I'm also warming up to glosses as well. ♥
