In Part 1 I’ll be telling you all about my very first niche perfume shopping experience! 🛍️
I recently had the opportunity to visit Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus in Boca Raton Florida and sniff to my heart’s content 🥰
Which 3 perfumes in a dizzying sea of fragrance stood out above all the rest?? Which niche brand impressed me the most? I also went to Lush and Zara.. were they a total bust?? You’ll find out all that (and much more since I can’t stop talking about it!) 😆
In Part 2 (which starts at 14:25 ) I am revisiting all of my Bond No. 9 perfume samples.. How do my thoughts on them now, compare to the notes I wrote on them a few years ago? There were a couple of standouts, and I definitely ended up with a new favorite to add to my wishlist! 😍

Yes it was such a positive experience overall!! And I only tried about 12 perfumes at Lush, but I felt like they kept getting worse and worse as I went so I gave up! 🤣🤣

Oh I would've thought you'd love Rose Jam, American Cream is nice but so subtle it does not last at all! Rose Cherie is my love, so sweet and girly! Tobacco Honey is nice but I knew it would get on nerves at some point😃Vanilla Sex is so boring especially for that price it's not worth it for me but the bottle is nice

Yes! American Cream was one that I couldn’t smell on the tester a few hours later, very subtle is definitely way to describe it! I wish I had had more time so I could have appreciated Rose Cherie better, although I definitely really did like it! 😍 yes I agree about tobacco honey and vanilla sex!! I hope you had a wonderful Easter! It’s been a busy weekend with family home to visit, but I am super excited to watch your Esxence video!!! 🙌🏻 I might start it tonight before bed! Wow Tammy what an incredible day of sniffing for you! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I went to Sephora the other night and sniffed/tried on like 4-5 frags, and I was totally overwhelmed 🫤 (The good news is I ruled a couple things out I was curious about! ). So….I have no idea how you did a whole day of it! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Awesome! I have not tried much from Bond and I need to. Sad that your Lush experience was not great - they have some of my very favorites 🩶🤍🩶

Hi Jill!!! Yes it was so much all at once! 😅 But I still loved it! 😍 I was really impressed by Bond! I also did get into a Sephora in the States, and it was really cool to see some of the brands we don’t have here in Canada, like Boy Smells, and even seeing Killian bottles in store! 😃

Wow, you like New York Flowers. There is no way to test Bond no 9 here… I saw it at a discount recently but I did not have the courage to blind buy it (up until now) 😄

It really is very beautiful.. out of everything I smelled I think it would be the safest one to blind buy, but each person is so different, it’s hard to be sure! 😅

It really is! After filming, I went upstairs and found that I actually did have a spray sample, (and remembered that it came as a free gift along with an order a while ago). I sprayed it to refresh my memory, and I found it to be sort of a muted, more creamy and powdery version of our Fatale Intense! ❤️

I only just tried my first Bond no9. I visited a smaller branch of Harrods and they stocked them! I have never ever seen them in real life before! I tried the turquoise green bottle of Scent of Peace 🕊️

@@dr.claire.perfume yes, the turquoise bottle is The Scent of Peace Natural.. from what I can gather it’s more bright and citrusy. The one I tested is the light purple bottle, and it’s more musky creamy and sweet. It dried down very very similar to Clean Radiant Nectar to me! 😊

Hahah! Well out of the top three I sniffed, if any, I would have probably purchased NY Flowers, a totally safe buy I’d say! Not to mention such a pretty bottle 😍 And even though I loved Animalique, I wouldn’t have felt comfortable getting it without a wear test! I need to be braver! 😉

I need to try Queens! I love Chinatown. Definitely try Astor Place on your skin. It's so different than on a tester strip. It's the only full bottle I own so far

It’s so amazing the difference there can be between testing on paper and skin! And even between when you first spray something and later on in the dry down.. I smelled Astor Place the next day on that test strip and I was getting something very pretty and citrusy almost like Versace Versense! 💛💛 I’ll definitely give it a proper wear this summer! 🥰 Let me know if you try Queens! 😃
