Great experiment design. You set up the experiment fairly for both blenders, using the exact same ingredients, you even put them side by side to show us viewers what you were testing for, then you tested both blenders for consistency and taste. Excellent job! The only concern I had was while tasting, whether you "reset" your taste buds between blenders, by drinking something neutral like water in between tastes. But overall, props to you for doing it right! Haven't seen many RU-vidrs do that, so I am very impressed. Keep up the good work!
I agree I have one for five years and it’s still going strong. I make soups, smoothies, fresh juices, everything in between, and it makes everything more enjoyable than when I had a cheap blender.
Blend longer with cheap blenders. I use a $15 walmart "mainstays" blender and make amazing smoothies with smooth consistency. I have a Nutribullet too but I use the walmart blender bc it holds more. The more expensive blenders makes it faster to blend, but if you can wait about 40 seconds to blend nuts and kale and want to save money, cheaper blenders ftw!
Generally more expense blenders have higher watts, which is what will determine how the consistency comes out. Ive never seen an expensive blender below 1000w. 500w shouldnt be used for frozen items, while 1000w> is best suited for such. Often frozen smoothies, you want to go for 1500w or above
The ninja blenders suck. Had the IQ model, and the food processor style blades do not blend well. They are great for ice, but horrible for fine smoothies.
This actually shows nothing. Theres more to a blender than price. Whats the Watts? whats the RPM? Whats the size to the two blenders? Watts is going to determine what the blender is used for. Not every blender is equip to blend ice and non chopped fruits.
Cant look at a blender the same lol...after that monster! Think abt a smoothie think abt a smoothie... ok, good! Now its out of my mind ans its a normal blender :)
