Testing Cheap Vs Expensive Vacuums  

TLDR: If same motors, big tube = less suck. Same amount of sand but at a slower pace I guess after a year I should reiterate some things 😅 Also this is a LOT of nerd shit soooo😅😅😅 the original reason for this reply was replying to some dude who deleted his but I suppose I’ll answer the actual comments question. The size of the tube does matter but it’s circumstantial. If this were a sealed environment and the sand was actually a liquid the size wouldn’t matter because of fluid dynamics. But because this is an open experiment with sand AND air there are a few things to consider. Are they the same power motor? Are they the same size motor? Does the diameter of the tube change? If both vacuums had the same size and power motor, then a bigger tube(including the insert where the tube enters the vacuum) then you’ll have less suction power at the end of the hose. If the vacuum outputs the maximum possible amount of SUCK 😏😏 to the smaller tube where it is able to completely stuff the sand in like a worm, a bigger tube would result in more efficiency. But outside of that the bigger tube would pick up the same amount of sand just at a different pace because of the pressure difference in the tubes.
