There is no need to put a tube with a knots on it to free eheim 200 air pump outlet, instead you can use a T shape splitter to combine both outlets to one direction using small piece of tube. And yes, the eheim is a lot quieter than jbl.
Nice video. I got a few questions: 1. Do you know how to silence the diffuser on the eheim. It is quite noisy while mounted on the suctioncup (I've considered to glue it, but not sure it will have any effect). 2. Can I replace the diffuser on Eheim with any other diffuser? 3. Do you know if the airtube on the JBL is 4mm as it is on the Eheim?
Useful review thanks, do i need to wall mount the Eheim ? I'm unsure, it says you should but I have an anti back flow valve in my line anyway. Thoughts about the wall mounting greatly appreciated. 👍
Ii think they recommend that it sits above the tank, but an anti backflow should be good enough. I believe the anti back flows do reduce the flow a little but not much.
It was brought for me by my brother a few years ago. Here's a link that may help in your search.
