We need more tutorials, grwm etc. feels like you never do much makeup anymore. Have learn a lot from you and would like to see more videos like that from ya.
I know this was a repost but, I'm glad you reposted because I didn't see this one before. That crooked mascara was super cheap looking but, that foundation bottle was really pretty. Even if it felt cheap, It all looked beautiful on you. God bless.
If it wasn't so damn expensive I would genuinely buy it purely for the aesthetic of it all. That foundation bottle is absolutely gorgeous and I love that teal colour, it's my favourite.
Well, at least it's not another Dyson Airwrap video. She put out like, 5 of them in a row. I like her fashion and gadget videos, along with any with the kids, they're the best ones. And yeah, it's disappointing to click on a rerun, thinking it's a new video. Would be nice if it was tagged as a repeat, so you'd know if you wanted to skip it
I mean if you really think about it the average woman does not have tons and tons of cosmetics. And cosmetics used to be packaged in compacts or bullets that were displayed on a vanity. So I totally get why they go above and beyond with the packaging. It’s to be displayed and enjoyed by the consumer. Not Shoved in a make up bag or in a drawer. Most women have maybe one or two foundations and use the same concealer because it works. Take it from someone who has worked in a beauty store for over five years now, women come in and I would say 80% of the time by the exact same product because they are out of it.
I thought she did the same brand but different products but I could be thinking of a different influencer/video or knowing my brain I may have just dreamt it haha!
@Milabu have you ever done a review of Beauty Bay products? I am obsessed with their eyeshadow palettes - I now have 3 of them and am so very tempted to buy the others - they are gorgeous, pigmented, blend like butter and you get large pans too so even their smaller palettes will last for ages. I bought their neutrals one recently (the largest one with 42 shades but they also do their palettes in smaller sizes with 16 shades or 9 shades) as I never felt happy with the nude/brown tone eyeshadows I had bought in the past because they were so warm toned and I am very fair skinned with a cool/pink undertone so I struggle with getting warm shades to look nice. These are either neutral or cool toned colours which are mostly nude shades but also have some mauves/grey-greige type of colours/pinkish hues/pale gold/silver shimmer highlight kind of shades and some darker browns too. It's a really nice spread of colours. The other two I have are a lot brighter, the Dark Fantasy palette has some purples/blues/burgundy and deeper browns and then a couple of really nice greens (including a lime green) and the Age of Opulence palette is mainly teals and purples with the odd magenta and then some gold shades too. If you haven't tried them I would really recommend them as they're reasonably priced (the 42 shade palettes are under £30!) and great quality. I have yet to try a lot of their other products (I do have the Dark Fantasy eyeshadow brush set which are super nice) but I am already planning my next haul! 😂
I know this is a repost but I think you're the only RU-vidr who does make up that's actually purchased florasis make up every other one I've watched were gifted the makeup to do a sponsored ad. Was wondering if they actually sold any or just gave it all away.
A lot of companies send free PR products to influencers because they know that they will sell a ton of products to their subscribers, it isn't just this one.
@@Littlewings1211 I know a lot of companies send pr but most of the pr is under no obligation to advertise I'm on about sponsored videos where they're actually paid to say how great the product is so really milana's review is the most real of all the people I've seen review this as the rest were sponsored post so it was great and nobody had a bad word to say about it.
@@sorchamckay6265 oh I see! Apologies, my misunderstanding. There are a few who have done them I think, although I don't think I've seen any full brand videos with them in, it's usually more "Instagram/TikTok/Facebook etc made me buy it" kind of videos where you get the honest reviews on stuff. I can imagine that it's quite galling to spend a few hundred dollars on a brand's products to find that the packaging (as long as you don't touch it) is the best part. I'd be tempted to buy a couple of the pieces, mainly the eyeshadow palette and the foundation bottle, just to look at if they weren't so expensive! It always annoys me too when they charge $50 for a bottle of foundation and there's about 3 shades to choose from. I struggle to find a match with drugstore brands that have 40, 50, 60+ shades in their ranges and I'm a pasty white person which is who the majority of shades are aimed at! Even the shades that Milana got would be too dark and/or warm for my skin. I don't know how they justify charging that amount for such a terrible range of shades.
@@Littlewings1211their primary market is China, they don’t need to produce a ton of shades. Just like Korean cosmetics companies only make 3-4 shades of base. It makes complete business sense for them, considering the population number of China they don’t need the foreign market. If you want more shades just buy an American brand.
Dang … about your daylight savings. Idky but I never realized .. I sound so dumb to myself but, it stays daylight longer for you now, and gets darker for us now, when before it was vise versa, … lol… smh for us up here in Ontario Canada, since daylight savings, it gets dark sooooo early now. During the summers it would get dark like 11pm, we’d be trying to play baseball right up until we can’t see the ball anymore lol… but I feel so dumb, cause i never thought about the fact that ur daylight savings is the opposite of what happens here 😂😂 idk I’m dumb, it’s winter here yes it gets dark early now lol. Sucks
The smaller mascara is quite common in Asia, I was at pains when I lived there to try find the right mascara wand. Remember the sale of most far East Asians requires this type of teeny tiny shaped wand for it to work better
Huh. Your eyeshadow palette has an orange blush in the middle rather than red? It looks off, like it's a fake. I guess it could be the lighting but it doesn't look like others I've seen!
Seems like they’re trying hard to look like a high-end brand, but it misses the mark in terms of quality control. They should take notes from Korean beauty brands, most of them are very impressive. The sculpting and pressing look like the most interesting part of this collection. It’s too bad, really.
I personally would rather pay for really great product that comes in really cheap ugly packaging. I feel like many brands are spending so much on packaging and the products are just lack luster.
Yes agreed. I love thé performance of Pat McGrath products, but her packaging is so cheap I have to use shipping tape to hold it together after a few months of daily use 😢 oh well you can always depot it to a Z palette if it gets really bad. Her plastic packaging is also incredibly cheap.
I would personally be afraid of the contents in anything from China. Milabu is gorgeous and I trust her implicitly but this makeup looks awful. It detracts from her.
I would be very wary of using a Chinese brand of makeup on my face. Quality control and suspect ingredients would be a real concern to me. The packaging is gorgeous but I buy makeup for the makeup, not the container it comes in. 🤷♀️
You do realize that plenty of makeup sold in the US is made in China? Only the most expensive stuff comes from Italy, Canada or the US. The stuff at cheaper price points is made in China.
ZEESEA has a very different price point tho. Much Much cheaper. I saw many reviews stating that the Zeesea primer breaks them out. But the florasis primer seems to have better review.
Yeah it must be a repeat like everyone said because she says it's lighter outside later in the evening bc of daylight savings.....and right now its most definitely darker earlier.
