I’ve been building models most of my life but now have retired and am trying to catch up on the many new options for every phase. I grew up with a Paasche H airbrush and have recently purchased a Gaahleri air brush because of the testing on your channel. One thing I lack is a paint booth. I thoroughly enjoy your channel. Once again, awesome video! Those copper colors at the end look good, but I'm looking forward to the greens you work on. I read a comment on a separate video asking for a blackened green and that would be a fantastic color to add to the collection.

Another great video as usual, Robert. Love what you're doing for the hobby. I'm also loving your Gaahleri swallowtail airbrush. It's replaced my Grex Tritium and I've been so impressed with Gaahleri I picked up the Mobius airbrushes and will be using them for the first time this weekend.

The small orange bottle of thinner is used to make the paint scratch resistant. That's why it's small and expensive. Spray the paints directly on the plastic. No primer needed. That thinner creates a strong scratch resistant bond.

Nice spray booth. Been using a home made one that doesn’t vent out, so I stick with water based paints. The Amsterdam acrylic ink in Silver is pretty good IMO. Thanks again for all you do! Love the reviews!!

I just started my airbrushing experience because of your channel. Let me say I am really enjoying it and it was your channel that took all the mystery out of the airbrushing. I am learning something new every time I use my airbrush. I purchased your swallow tail airbrush and am really enjoying it. My son is into RC cars and asked me to paint his polycarbonate truck body. Well with a lot of RU-vid research and with the swallow tail , it came out pretty good and my son said “it came out much better than I would have ever expected it to” So thank you for your channel and giving me the confidence to start airbrushing and enhancing my modeling hobby.

I just got into Gundam and model building last month, and I've been obsessively consuming as many videos and tutorials as I can, and you're one of the channels I look to for paints and tool reviews and it's been immensely helpful. I really want to get into airbrushing and painting, but getting everything I need has been slow as a broke college student, so hoping for a chance at the waterfall spray booth! Also. since we're on the topic of Gaia paints, would you be able to do a video on all their surfacers? With 14 different surfacing colors between their Evo and Nazca lineup it would be really informative to see what the differences are and what colors would go best with them. Thanks for all your hard work, especially with these Gaia paint comparisons, since it's been confusing looking at all the different colors and shades that different brands provide. Much love.

Hey Robert.. I was absolutely floored when you said you were approaching a 100K !! I have been around since the earliest of days (a few zeroes ago), and I wanna say thank you on behalf of our entire community for all the amazing content you have put out there.. Whenever I have a question about a paint or a tool, the first channel I turn to is yours.... Recently, I have been making daily excuses to myself about why I can't buy a "Swallowtail".... -Annoying inner monologue..... "then I need a compressor"..."but wait.. Tamiya cans are so expensive anyway.... so I might as well..." "No !!!!... then I'll need a booth too"..lol.. Up until now I have resisted but with the incredibly generous chance at a free booth, .. who k nows? The stuff of dreams !! Big supporter here in New England with you (Southern Maine)... First of all, thank you for all that you have done for the model-kit building community, the give-away is just the cherry on top. BTW I don't know if you've heard of DOT3 automotive brake fluid being used as a paint stripper. I've used this method with various paints from Tamiya to Dupli-color spray cans and it just separates the paint from the plastic! Hopefully you'll try this method as the brake fluids are like $2 for a small bottle and it's reusable as long as you filter out the separated paint chunks with a strainer. Cheers and thanks. :)

I'm a disabled 61 year old who recently got back into the hobby. I stumbled upon this channel and enjoy it very much. This spray booth would be much nicer than the current Wagner paint tent that I'm currently using.
