Ok, so here's something I would love to see... Rachels favorite recipes. I'm talking about the recurring mentions - chocolate chip cookies, lemonade, lemon vinaigrette, and so on. Why should we suffer with these inferior recipes when you have golden nuggets to share? :)
I do believe she has her chocolate chip cookie recipe on here! I remember watching it and saving it on my old phone 😂 but I would like her other recipes!! ❤️
@@catdover02 Thank you thank you thank you! Just watched it and now have a plan for when I have all the ingredients! Recipe is printed. Have you tried it?
Allieboballie I have not! I rarely make chocolate chip cookies and when I do i always forget to try hers, I usually do the magnolia (Joanna Gaines) recipe 😂
Pretty sure the salt in the caramel messed up the freezing for the ice cream. It lowers the temp you need for the ice cream to freeze. The machine might have worked for a non-salt flavor, like pistachio or chocolate.
It will depend on the amount of salt, a very small amount like in this recipe will have minimal effect on freezing temps, that ice cream machine looks like it doesn’t have the thermal mass to continue freezing the ice cream on its own. The recipe isn’t at fault here
It is. I have a toddler and used it for grapes and olives a lot I also used it on cherries (after I pitted them) when he was real little. We didnt use it on cherry tomatoes, but I think it would handle them well. I have a different version from faberware I like it better because it is more open for cleaning and can accommodate large grapes too. www.amazon.com/dp/B078X6BHNR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_.0sFFbC6QX48B
I just ordered the bbq gloves this morning with the bbq claw shredder I want to thank you for this review because I canceled the order and saved my husband's hands
I went with these instead - smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B086LD6X7Q?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title Any of the gloves with cloth are dangerous if they get wet! I use these for when I microwave corn and need to squeeze the cobs out of the husks.
My dad has been using these for his smoker for years and they are perfect. He can hold a 700 degree cast iron not problem to bring it inside the house. Hello from South Carolina! We woke up to Winter this morning (anything below 60°F). It's been a lovely 68° since noon and we have spent the day OUTSIDE! It is beautiful. Hope you have a lovely day as well.
My youngest is in his 20's....I never cut grapes for any of my kidlets, just supervision with anything they could choke on. They're all thriving and well. So many things are quite different now, but my parents' generation probably thought the same thing when my kidlets were growing up, too lol
I cut up grapes for my littles we had a scare with my first when she was 2 and choked on a grape we had 4 adults near her and was watching so we caught it fast but now I continue to cut them.
The grape cutter works best if you face it down wards and do it quickly! Lots of hours were spent using one for nursery kids snacks!! Saved so much time!
Hey, new fan here. My husband has a barrel smoker, and every once and a while he's in a situation where he has to use his hands to move something inside the cooker (tongues just aren't going to cut it). He has a set of those gloves for just that purpose and they work well. Definitely a "move it and get out" speed run situation, but great for that purpose.
For the ice cream,, it's definitely the recipe.. I think that it's too much sugar. Maybe if you had added half-ish of the caramel mixture to the base, churned, and then used the rest of the caramel for a swirl when it reaches soft serve texture and fold it in before putting in the freezer to set. Ever notice how the swirl in fudge, stawberry or caramel swirl ice cream never freezes and stays gooey?
I have that exact grape cutter and I love it! Helps me save so much time cutting up more than just grapes. I use it for olives, tomatoes, large blueberries and sometimes even strawberries (once I half them). I’m obsessed with it. Haha.
Love keeping grapes in the freezer in the summer. Can be used as ice cubes or eaten and they feel weirdly sorbet-esque and bad for you... But they arent
I LOVE your editing skills mad props!!!!! It definitely doesn’t go unnoticed! I love your personality so I’d watch even if you didn’t have all those lil gems added in but they definitely add to it so much!!! Well done 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

so they say you can use a waffle cone maker as a stroopwafel maker. but could you also use it to make idk tortillas or naan? maybe even crepes? that could be a whole video esp if you're trying to make homemade stroopwafel.
I like the idea of tortillas or naan! I don’t think crepes would work though because the batter would be way too liquid to use, it would just drip out the side and make a mess
If you like the lemon on green grapes because they taste like sour patch kids, you should roll grapes in the jello flavor mix of your choice. I have used blue raspberry and green apple and they were amazing!!
Thanks for inviting us into your kitchen again! I was meal prepping while watching. Keen to see what amazon products you get. I’d love to see storage devices from amazon
I heard about the lime juice on cut green grapes from you, Rachel. They are fantastic, even better when put back in the fridge to chill after adding the lime juice. I can't eat plain green grapes anymore!
RachhLovesLife I love how you made a page for them! My curiosity go the best of me hahaha thanks for all of your amazing recommendations also your highlight palette is my favorite
Another gadget for juicing citrus is a hand held citrus press. Kinda like a giant garlic press, works great and cleans fast. We also have an ice cream maker like that and have successfully made ice cream in it, but not custard based.
My thoughts on the ice cream maker is that because it's all enclosed, not enough air is able to be whipped in. Ice cream needs air whipped into it so it becomes fluffy.
I have the ice cream maker. I use canned coconut milk, baking cocoa, vanilla and sugar and it makes tasty soft serve. You cannot put mix-ins in like chocolate chips as the stirring mechanism is not strong enough but you can stir them in by hand afterwards. 🍨
The grapes and lime juice is great. Also works well with lemon juice! It is best to cut them in half at least to soak in the juice a bit. Do it all the time, great snack!
i guess the gloves are more so when you're bbq'ing and moving things around and touching hot stuff, you can easily just grab and move it to the side without burning yourself and without needing to go get something to grab it. like with the skillet, you'd be able to take it out and put it to the side with ease, not worrying if the thing that you were grabbing it with could slip and drop it. so it seems good for those quick little actions, but not for prolonged usage
Thanks for the nice weather I am having today Rachh. It is sunny, breezy and only 82 degrees. It might have been just as beautiful without your wishes but, I am giving you the credit!
Rachel! There’s an easier way to squeeze lemons and all you need is a skewer. Poke the end of the lemon (doesn’t matter which side) with the skewer so it creates a small hole and then squeeze the lemon. You can store the lemon back in the fridge as is and the best part is you don’t get any seeds at all!
We're actually having pretty good weather for once. It's cooled down a bit and I'm getting hopeful that we might actually get a winter in Georgia this year. My Amazon wishlist is mostly knit and crochet gadgets. There's also an awesome 'Get your shit together' shirt from the Tiny Rick episode of Rick and Morty that I really want.
It’s beautiful here in Oklahoma, USA! All my windows open today and it’s finally feeling like fall!!! Also, a good video would be some of Chris’s favorites because my husband is also a geek and also loves cooking but it seems that most lists for men are all aimed at one stereotype of a guy. Been watching you for years and loving every minute! ❤️ thanks!
There’s this little bedside shelf that attaches to your bedframe that I’m on the fence about but it looks really cool because I don’t have enough room around my bed for a night stand. Would love to see you try that out 👀
My ice cream machine did that, even tho it was in the freezer for days! Believe it or not it wasn't cold enough! I had to put the bowl in my spare freezer and make the freezer colder and it worked perfectly 😉
