We used to use these in class all the time when I was a kid. It's so weird to me to see how popular they are getting now! I always liked using them as a kid, but as an adult I haven't used them at all. It's sad that they don't keep the richness of the colours once it's dried. I didn't know they reactivated either!
Yes that is an aspect i didn't like. But the colours look pretty nice even when they are dry :D. I think they are good art supplies for sketchbook work
I love how you started this painting in such a loose way. Totally something I have to work on! I use watercolors and sometimes ecolines but want to use them more and you're inspiring me to do so! :D And yes, I agree with you! They're super bright and at the beginning I was a bit sad that the brightness wasn't quite the same after drying and since you can't layer them, it's hard getting darker tones. Glad to know you're doing well!
Those colors are amazing can't wait to try them sometime. Love your illustration! The quarantine really hasn't made too much of an impact in my life. I'm still working Monday thru Friday but working in an office by myself now has it's perks. The stores are crazy here too in Florida. Always on the lookout for toilet paper and other essentials. Stay safe.
Hello ! I like to use the Ecolines watercolors too. These are so vibrant ! Unfortunately, I think they are a bit difficult to use for beginners because they reactivate and melt when you want to layer its.
Thank you so much for watching! Yes they are a bit difficult to work with since they tend to bleed when layering. Fortunately this type of painting looks actually better when colours bleed into each other
Very nice UFO piece :) I have a few sets of Ecoline watercolours and I do like the colours, I just wish they were a bit easier to get layer blends on paper
Hi. Do you have ent experience of the colours fading? I’ve been using these for a month or so mixed with regular watercolour and I’ve only just realised that they are not lightfast
I love this medium of watercolours. I find it better than tubes and pans. I love you,re drawing. I have always bin painting in watercolour its my beginer medium and i wanna try dr ph Martin's bombay inkt in combination whit watercolours
Hello Anca Pora Illustration. Me neither but another RU-vidr is using them and she say is its a good inkt and that wen dry its waterproof. So you can use it whit watercolours. 😃🥰👋🏼 i bought a set on Amazone. I don,t know if its in stock.
I didn't know you could get an opaque White and gold in the ecoline collection. I've been dealing with the stress of moving during this pandemic, so it has been a mix of weird and stressful events. It's been depressing to see the poor leadership from many countries and their governments. If we are unable to act well on such a clear and deadly threat, it makes me worried and depressed that we have no chance to properly tackle climate change :(
Yes these are the only two opaque colours :D. I think that some countries are handling this situation better then others. It's a time when we are all worried about the future unfortunately and it's beyond our control. I just hope things will start getting better soon
