Hi mancave I watched the whole thing and yes my mobility scooter does exactly the same thing I'm age 31 I have had a motorbike accident six years ago due to the police chasing stolen car and I'm very lucky to be here now
Great video Adam, Yes I did watch till the end, had to make sure you got back out safely!! Some very lovely countryside out there in Norfolk. Maybe your mum might have to lend you the scooter to continue your adventures around the village.
Greetings, Adam. Jerry over in the colonies here. I really enjoy your videos. One of my fun things to do is geolocation. I like to track locations from tips in videos, Yours was a bit difficult; however, perseverance paid off. The tip was the Sewage Plant sign. From there, short work to find the Village Church and your Man Cave. Do not be concerned, I do not share my findings, I just enjoy the challenge. I guess it is somewhat like bird watching or engine collecting. Anyway, thank you for the videos--Love Em.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole video. Beautiful country side. I live in North Shropshire, but my next place to live would have been Norfolk. At 71 years old with health issues this has been a very interesting review of the mobility scooter.
Fair play chap, you certainly do live in a beautiful part of this lovely country, Norfolk is on my list for a visit if only to see the pigeon's fly backwards LOL
As it was not difficult to find your location I can tell you the track you were on is open for public access (unless it is subject to a local council traffic restriction order) which I doubt.
Yeah I watched to the end! 😂 When my ol' dad passed he left me his mobility scooter, I'm glad he did as soon after I had an issue with my knee and ended up using his scooter for 10 months! I took the dogs across fields in rain, shine and snow! Not a problem! So if you want to ride a scooter down a dusty track out in the countryside then you do it.
We watched the video all the way to the end, and we were very impressed with the off road ability of the scooter considering it is only 2 wheel drive, and for the money you paid including the batteries it is a bargain and will be perfect for rallies for your mum. I am disabled and use a joystick 4x4 powerchair for disabled detecting and walks and I have been through some very tricky terrain with it being 4x4, but for general tracks and grass the Invacare is perfect. We are hoping to travel to Norfolk in the near future to have an explore, and maybe even get some permission to metal detect around some of the lovely villages. You are right Norfolk and Suffolk are lovely counties and we would love to live there to be honest. All the best from Wendy and Jon in Derbyshire.
Hi. I watched till the end as I have the same mobility scooter, just under a different make. I brought it used and have had it almost 8 years and they do go almost anywhere. The only thing I would suggest if it's gonna be used off road as I do with mine is to look in to getting a set of solid tyres for it as it will save a lot of hassle from getting punctures. Even riding it around town is not safe with the amount of broken glass on the pavement lol.

Well, I've watched it this far! About halfway and still going. I've been using mobility scooters for about fifteen years now. You'll have to go a long way to find the limits of that scooter. I used to take my Mercury M48 to the machinery sales, there all day (8:30am to about 5:30pm) and never dropped a single bar on the battery meter. Same at farm sales too. Biggest issue is always the price of batteries, but take heart, if the owner of the scooter has a verifiable medical disability, you can get the batteries at zero VAT rate. Even so, £250 for a pair of batteries is still a bitter pill to swallow.
Very similar to my mobility scooter, except your ones more modern bought mine second hand and the batteries were shagged. Replacement batteries were a similar cost. Norfolk is a beautiful county spent my childhood in Necton.
Find all your videos interesting and yes I did watch it until the end can't wait for the next video I love the idea of make do and mend it reminds me so much of the old times anybody can throw loads of money at things and say they've restored them but far better to fix what's there

One of the joys of the UK is the public footpaths even though many farmers hate them. Here in Australia all of the farm land is closed up, woe betide you if you trespass.

Always known where you are as I used to live around the corner for many years. I agree that area is delightful and I used to walk the dog into the forest and bring back a few ticks if not careful. However, with life's changing events, I moved and now live in ... yes, LINCOLNSHIRE !. So thank you for your kind comments on your neighbouring county ! Remember when you cross Sutton Bridge you are still in those flat fens, but of course it is very much Norfolk. Hope you don't get any angry Lincolnshire gangsters visiting you. Here I am, all the way to the end! Err, no, you haven't got the land rover of mobility scooters, most heavy scooters are just as gutsy, just remember, it's down to the power of the motor, and the batteries behind it. There are some "off road" scooters, such as the "Tramper" with big wheels and twin motors. Now, before you hand that machine over to mum, run the batteries down some more. Something doesn't ring true with the charger. After your little romp, the charger should have started to charge those batteries - it should not be showing fully charged. Try another charger and see what happens. If it does anything at all, it should either go into a full on charge cycle, or into bulk cycle (showing a partial charge). At any rate, in all my time scootering I've never seen a charger show the batteries as fully charged from the get go unless there is a fault with the charger, the charge fuse or the scooter itself. (But there's always a first time!!).
i did watch to the end great scooter at a good price those batteries you got i had 2 sets of them in the past brand new and they was not a good battery i go with mk as you can get upto 3 years out of them plus i noticed the charger was going to full i would check that it dont seem right
You have got a good buggy there ive got a 8mph scooter for the wife and it's given her a new look at going out around national trust places and things like that And it's a good thing to test it out for your mum first Just one thing if going across a jully go though it straight as they can tip over as my wife found out one day after I told her more than once not to go over them on the angle And yes watched till the end From andy in devon
To those interested Adam has stumbled upon one of East Anglia's 58 chalk streams. Only 260 chalk streams are thought to exist in the world with the UK having around 80% of them. Regrettably the Environment agency and Anglian water between them do not do a very good job of preserving our chalk streams and so many local pressure groups have had to be formed to fight the very convenient disinterest shown by these 2 massive and wealthy organisations.
Those scooters have somewhere between 35 to 50 mile range on the road, depending on riders weight and the size of batteries. As for cost That model I do not know but my wife paid nearly £7000 two years ago for he one new. So you got a good deal there.
