Testing my restored Telefunken Jubilate 1061 and the news John Connery dead. 

I bought this radio from the daughter of the first owner. She did not know if the radio worked. She told me that she could remember when she was young, that the radio was used in the dining room, and later moved to her room. I took the radio apart, and dusted and cleaned it from all the dust. I tested the tubes. I saw the electrolytic cap was bad because it had been leaking, so I replaced it with a used Philips. Those Philips are good. Usually the rectifier go bad because of leaky caps. Then I replaced the normal caps, and the radio worked. Nice little radio.
