The green primer is really meant for redness on the skin though - it’s the two colors mixing that create a neutral base. Your skin didn’t have any red in it at all hence why it looked green.
I love love love the way everything turned out. Such a pretty look. I also love the lip because I feel like so many people prefer the warmer nude lip look but this is so freaking pretty.

I HAVE to get that palette. It will be mine. Alter Ego has improved their formula so much. I have one of their older palettes, Shadow Kiss, and it’s pretty darn good. But, then I bought Coastal, and the formula in that palette is incredible! So, if this Mirage palette has that same Coastal formula, I bet it’s absolutely amazing. And I want that lip kit so bad too! It matches that eyeshadow palette really well! I must have them both! 😊 you looked gorgeous 😊

Not a new product but no one talks about it ever, the milani surcharged undereye tint. Complete holy grail for me, i have very dark undereyes and even after full coverage conealer it was still dark, where as with this one tiny dot and instant brightness

With your olive undertone, I would definitely stay away from the green color correctors....but you saved it beautifully! The Alter Ego palette is a dupe for the Huda Beauty Empowered palette which I've never really been drawn too. I feel like I have that color story a hundred times over....but after seeing it on you, I'm re-thinking my position. @salonidesire42 I also suffer from very dry skin and I'm also a mature skin gal I've found consistent skin routine is what helps the most to allow me to have a smooth hydrated skin which gives a smooth flawless base I keep my routine simple I use a cleansing oil to remove makeup a mild cleanser as part of a 2 step cleansing routine I use a hydrating toner after that then I use a serum to target my large pores and another with hyaluronic acid for more moisturizing and last a good thick night cream I allow a few minutes in between each step to allow each product I use to sink in and right before I go to bed I apply a good facial oil to lock everything in 3x a week I will do an exfoliating scrub after cleansing and in the morning I will wake up with super soft super hydrated skin I only wash my face once a day at night in the morning I use a hydrating micellular water to refresh my skin from all the nighttime skin care then I just use an eye cream moisturizer and sunscreen again allow at 30 minutes fir all the products to sink in I use a moisturizing hydrating makeup primer all over a pore filling primer only where needed and I use hydrating primer mist spray before foundation then again after I apply foundation concealer and setting powder then again after the rest of my makeup and this has given me great results with having great looking and long lasting makeup but it really is about your skincare routine and it doesn't have to be over the top high priced products just products with the ingredients needed for dry skin I hope this helps and I can recommend skincare products and primers if you need that as well
The primer should have been applied where there is redness to counteract, but I think you don’t need that at all. The look still came out beautifully nonetheless.

You look GORG, Vianney! I’ve heard Uoma is really good! I love this look & that loose bronzing powder on your neck added such a nice shade on you. Only thing I don’t like about the eyeshadow palette is that it’s 100% copying or duping Huda Beauty’s Empowered palette down to the shape of the indent in the gel eyeshadow shade. Anyway, want to get my hands on the Elf x Jennifer Coolidge lip kit!! 😊❤
