I can’t stand fragrance in anything. I get asthma and bad physical reactions. This one does have a strong candy watermelon 🍉 and I do even smell it after it dries and while wearing! (That being said, for some reason I didn’t get a migraine.) But, I am hoping we can all get these companies to stop stinking up our hair and makeup products! Seriously, I am thinking of getting petitions going, but not sure how!
Thank you for reviewing this! I have been thinking of picking this up but I don't think I will now, I don't like thick foundations or strong fragrance in my makeup. Very helpful 👍
I am so happy to be watching someone else review this lol I felt so bad thinking wait this isn't what I expected lol Appreciate the thorough review as always 💛
I was excited for this one because of the other foundation was too drying for me but this one seems like it would be the same. I have dry skin. Looks beautiful on you though Steph!
It wasn't always like this for me, I use to suffer from acne teen years and early 20s. Now thankfully all of that has cleared up, probably with age. I drink almost a gallon of water a day. I always were my SPF and never go to bed with makeup on. I do my skincare routine AM and PM without fail. Good genes too!
There's been so many foundation releases recently 😩 this week alone I purchased the new reformulated L'Oreal true match, the new Revlon skincare foundation, the new essence keep me covered foundation, and I am planning on getting the juvias and makeupbymario ones as well! This was perfect timing since at the end of 2022 I had like no foundations left over 😭 but I'm excited to be trying all these new ones ❤️ could you possibly do a ranking video of all the news ones you try this month?
Thanks for your review Steff, passing on this one as I don’t want fragrance in my skincare and makeup, plus it’s not lasting a good 10 hours without breaking up
I love it, it’s both pale and yellow (wouldn’t call it „neutral”) plus full coverage plus radiant. I will buy it. The shade range seems slightly confusing, though. They recommended me a shade Alexandria which judging from 11:58 looks nothing that what I entered as a reference (NYX Can’t stop won’t stop Pale - not my favorite foundation, but my favorite shade). Then from the description I wanted to go for Vienna, but I guess Bali it is! Thank you, this was helpful. Not sure if it won’t be a little dark but it looks so goood
Hallo Steff, I saw this reviewed and looked it up couldn't even see details that help getting correct undertones. I was curious but not really getting, too many in my stash to use and have a few on my radar. I ordered the NYX blur foundation and Milani powder excited to try. Great review thank you, will be a pass for me though. I have to many dry areas . 😘💙😘
@@SteffsBeautyStash so excited. When I saw your review I knew this was needed in my life and in my stash of too many foundations. You are the best. I always get an idea if it will work out for me by your detailed review and demo. I am going against my better judgement and figured your review is what I will feel , but ordered the Milani mascara.
It clinged to my acne and dry spots I just didn’t really see the radiance it was just so thick but I did like the scent like its a pleasant scent its not like colourpop where the scent is a deal breaker where u can’t use it anymore
@@SteffsBeautyStash yes i agree, mine was come off my nose. But worn mine from 12 hours but if i worn mine for 7 to 8 hours i think it would be find.. but i also go the powder foundation too.
The foundation pretty cakey and thick on me and has really strong fragrance but I don’t mind it like it smells like fruit snacks but my sensitive skin not loving it
Cherry..that was the scent I guess and read the ingredients and it says it has cherry serum or something along those lines I am not a fan of scented makeup but I will still try it. Did the scent dissipate over time? How long did it take before you stopped noticing the smell?
I haven’t tried it yet but I like full coverage cause I have melasma (really brown spots on my face) I am trying the peeling treatment but today was my second treatment and I hadn’t seen any difference so foundation like bb creams aren’t for me I tried the first version of juvias place foundation but I was darker than I am today but after my 7 days of my peeling process I am going to try again the old version with some white corrector because for me this foundation looks beautiful on your face but I know that you prefer light to medium or natural finish so I understand your point of view thanks for the review I hadn’t seen anybody talk about this one yet 👍🏻👋🏻🙋🏻♀️🙏
Hey Steff,, did you see my comment yesterday? I made it 23 hours ago. It has nothing to do with this but today I took out up a bunch of pallets and I created different looks similar to how you do your eyes and I was so proud of myself because it came out really good and I never use anything in my waterline but I went to Sally's and picked up the Palladio liners and some are on clearance for like $5 and I got like a burgundy a white a brown and orange and one more color I can't think of but I use those with the looks I created and it just really tied everything in I used four Shades in each palette which I only usually do three I do my crease my outer V and my lid and actually I use more than four let me think one two yeah because the shadow I used under my eyes was a little deeper than what I had in my outer V so I wanted to share that with you but I do want you to see that comment and if you go to yesterday's it'll probably be the first one since I commented late
@@SteffsBeautyStash Thank you. I am actually going back dark that's why I was there and I've heard some pretty good things about some of the stuff they had. Also I went to cosmetology school another reason I was there plus I can't afford a salon anymore but have to keep my hair super short and still haven't found anyone I love
Thank you for this THOROUGH review. This is how I wish a lot of reviewers would do product reviews. I've been tempted but I have dryer skin so maybe i'll pass on this. Also I second the sheglam foundation. I like it a lot
Jeez, that one really is FULL coverage!!! I'm amazed that they (JP) marked this as being "medium" cover. I always think a full coverage foundation is going to have a matte finish. I certainly won't be thinking THAT again 😅😅 Anyhoooooo, it's not for me - I very much prefer a light/light medium coverage and I have very dry skin. Lots of love to you, 💙💜💙💜💙💜💙 PS : I loved the look on day two, you totally rocked it 😍😍😍
It makes no sense to me for them to put out another full coverage foundation. I mean to round out their line and go more with what's trending now they should've released a light to medium coverage. And it saying it's a medium coverage is kinda misleading to people buying it. If I hadn't watched your review about how full coverage and not dry skin friendly it is I probably wouldn't bought it. I just don't get their thought process on this whole launch.
I too really thought this was gonna be totally different than what it was. I don't watch or read any reviews on a product until after I try it. Glad I could help you!
