I used that same eyeshadow quad yesterday and I was very pleased. The purple has a lot of pigment while the lighter version contrasted well on the inner eyelid and the colours lasted for over 12 hours. It is sold as Gallery here and found in Dealz/Poundworld [which might be the same group as the UK Poundland are]. My daughter uses ones of their foundations and loves it, it's the perfect shade for her skin and it last all day without any issues.
I tried the primer and foundation from Poundland. I think its the primer that makes it go weird - foundation is better on its own - but the foundation which I bought in "Swan" after a while seemed to go too dark and a bit orangey in colour. It was better for me applied with a brush - but for £3 its not too bad. 😀

I just can't get into pound land makeup, only their black pencil eyeliner and the powder, their nail polish on the other hand is excellent quality and actually £1! I love that you try out these products tho as alot of people just test really expensive makeup i will never be able to afford lol! I haven't seen alot of the products you have used today, would love to try the primer tbh.
Would love to see you test shein makeup if you would do it. The concealer I’m super surprised by 😮I think best two brands fro cheap eyeshadow are MUA and revolution although revolution is climbing price wise for eyeshadow 🥹❤️ xxx
Hey Steph, I love your video and you look amazing. But I just wanted to let you know that the colours glitch on your contacts/filter at 7:32 with blue lines in your eye and a couple other times not as noticeably in the video.
My experience with Poundland makeup has been AWFUL! I have no spots or dryness, normal skin and the foundation was all patchy, tried to correct it and made it worst, I tried a couple of times using brush, sponge and was really horrible... ended up in the bin! Alongside with the mascara, eyeshadow, eye pencil... I never had problems with brands low cost like Essence, Revolution, Rimmel...I prefer to spend my money in good quality products and still low cost.😊
Friend of mine in the UK swears by the poundland brow wax but I don't think I could ever willingly give up got2b edge control for my brows. That stuff is a brow deep freeze!
I wipe makeup on my socks too 😂 I tried Poundland makeup and it's all too warm toned for me, I look orange in it. I get makeup from B&M, it's hit and miss though, they don't get fresh stock in often and they keep smashed powders/palettes out for ages before replenishing it, it's good if you manage to get the new stock. I got a dupe for Huda Rose quartz palette by w7 for under £6. People just sort of open up and use the non testers which is super annoying, there's a special place in hell for people who do this

Looks alright apart from the let down from the foundation.. the £1 pressed powder as gone viral on tiktok ... I’ve only ever tried the liquid eyeliner and loved it.. btw your stunning even without makeup xx

would you ever do full face of no7? the hydrating luminous foundation is UNREAL. i only found out about it because i run out of foundation and had to steal my mums😂2 years later & im never changing it! do airbrushed and flawless
I'm not sure which but one of the No7 foundations peeled on me. I just couldn't fix it and I threw it away which happens very rarely. The eyeliner was so strong that I couldn't get it off (just occurred to me, threw that one away, too). Said this, all eye pencils are amazing and lipsticks are great, too.
You need a tail for your brows, it looks like they are missing the ends 😂 I have the same big blocky brows and a skinny tail going down does wonders for our face shape 😉
i have the exact same foundation, it was the first foundation i used when i started doing makeup in 2021 and it was actually alright and i mixed it w the L'Oreal foundation (golden almond) , i got it in the same shade too (olive), now i use only the L'Oreal Foundation tho 😂
Pretty much, they sell a mix of basic store cupboard foods, household stuff, snacks, some basic DIY stuff. They used to be just £1 for everything, sometimes even 2 for £1, but with inflation the prices have gone up but they've kept the name.
To anyone that might be reading this, I wish that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. I wanted to give some positivity out to anyone that might need it since I'm going through a very dark time myself now. Whoever is willing to read this, just do: May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, the doubt exit your mind right now. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life... even tho current times are challenging and some of you might go through tough times now I sincerely wish everyone that happiness enters your hearts and let all the stress and sadness vanish out of your life...as you know nothing in life is ever easy, but what's important is that you keep going! you're worthy of love and happiness, never allow anyone to tell you otherwise! It can be extra hard sometimes but stay strong and hang in there, your life matters, no one can replace you, I'm thankful you're born and I'm sure your struggles will pass soon! I wish all of you plenty of health and strength during any current tough times you face.
