*Which Poké Ball should they make into a Pokemon card tin next?* Congrats to Javier Esquivel, you get the Eternatus VMAX! You have till 5/15/2021 to email me and claim it. My email is in the video description.
I think they should make Pokémon figurines with packs inside. Like a statue of a charizard or any Pokémon that can look good, have packs inside and be used as storage.
Evolutions and I loved it every set after that too as well when Pokemon was actually the best anyway but with today's sets I'm actually starting to love it again the artwork is starting to be better again I just hope they don't go back and forth LOL but when evolutions was out the artwork was always great from the sets after that
The first pack I remember opening were the 2005 Delta Species packs. I had cards before then that my parents gave me from auctions but the Delta Species packs were my favorites until a "friend" disappeared with them.
was probably around age 10 when I was first introduced to Pokemon, It got the black and white games and they engulfed me and my brother's life. I think that one of the first packs that we opened was a Plasma blast. We just got back into the trading cards games thanks to you and other RU-vidrs.
The first pack I ever opened was base set way back in the day! I remember not caring about the cards as a 4 year old though...hahaha xP I just loved the pikachu card and carried it with me everywhere.
My first pack was a 1st Edition Spanish in Perú, from where I pulled a Chansey Holo. Pokémon anything was incredibly expensive at the time (you would have to pay in dollars 😬 and we're usually 3x the price of the cost in the US). My mom's friend worked at the retail store and was able to use her employer's discount 🙌🏽 this was the only pack I opened until I went to Japan in 2019
First pack I ever opened was when I was about 6 years old back in 99, It was of course first edition base set and I pulled a blastoise. I remember being super excited being it was my favorite pokemon and I was instantly hooked to the card game going forward
The very first pack I opened was Roaring Skies, I didn't start collecting until later on in the tcg history. I pulled the rayquaza cars that everyone wanted
My first set was the original base set way back in ye olden days. My cousin got me hooked on it and I collected the fire out of cards back then. Even managed the holo Charizard. Sadly I have lost all of those cards now. Apparently when your mother says if you dont clean your room she will clean it for you with a trash bag...she isnt joking. RIP
My first Pokémon set that I opened was evolutions. I was surprised by my uncle with it and I was so happy because I just got into the hobby and couldn’t find anything. The first card I pulled was a holo Magneton and a ninetales break! I was happy because I got 2 bangers. After I got my first pack I quickly got more
I bought a first edition booster back in 98 because my younger brothers were collecting. I pulled a holographic Alakazam. Over 20 years later and I still enjoy opening packs Thanks for the amazing content
My very first pack of Pokémon cards was a base set pack! All I remember for sure from the moment is that it was a special occasion of some kind... the pack was given to me as a gift 💝 I was quite young but I was hooked right away 😄 Still love Pokémon to this day!
My grandma and I used to always go to Kmart and get Pokémon cards. I’m pretty sure the oldest one I can remember getting is from diamond & pearl. I’m pretty sure it was Secret Wonders because I still have the Holo rare entei card and it was my favorite card for the longest time!
My first pack will have been base set, though I wouldn’t remember what I pulled. My brother and I would get a pack each and we managed to pull Charizard once and my parents immediately packed it away for safe keeping! I haven’t seen it since lol I think it’s too well hidden
The first pack I ever got was a Plasma Storm blister pack. From the pack, I got a Lugia EX. it wasn't a full art or anything, but it was just really cool card! I had watched a lot of the Pokemon T.V. show, and Lugia was my favorite Pokemon, so it felt so amazing that I was able to get my favorite Pokemon from my first ever booster pack!
The first pack I've ever opened was the very first base set when pokemon cards just came out. I remember going to the swap meet and picking up my very first Machamp trainer deck.
My first Pokémon pack was evolving skies and actually the Pokémon that I got was garbodor v and I just started collecting Pokémon one year ago and garbodor v was my first Pokémon I’m so lucky to have that card…. In somebody’s hand
My first pack I ever bought that I remember was a Team Rocket booster pack from the store Dollar Tree. I pulled a Holo Dark Weezing which was the best and first holo I had.
My first booster pack(s) as far back as I can remember was back in 2009. I remember my mom buying me a Garchomp Lvl X tin, and it had three booster packs inside I believe. Platinum something... I do not remember. Luckily, I still have most of the cards I pulled :) obviously the Garchomp Lvl X promo, Cynthia's Rayquaza holo, Reverse holo Articuno, Holo Gardevoir and Holo Gallade. I do have base set cards and a Blastoise holo from 2005/2006, but I do not remember opening packs for them. Around the same time-frame, I do remember my mom buying me a Blaziken theme deck, and I still have that card too. As you'd imagine, my older cards aren't in great condition but, the condition was good enough for me to sleeve them all and place them in a binder.
I would hear kids at school in 2nd grade talk about Pokémon cards and I got interested so my mom bought me a theme deck and I was like, “wow this is so cool!” And here on out 6 years later I’m still collecting today!
The first pack of Pokémon cards I opened was a pack of Champions Path this year, and I ended up pulling a secret rare Trainer Hop Full Art! It was actually from an Elite Trainer Box gifted to me by my dad. Glad to be part of The Breaking Family!
My very first pokemon pack was from my nan we walked down to the corner store together and we opened it up together. I remember her being just excited as me a few years on and I realised she was excited at my excitement rather then the actual cards bless her x
I can't quite remember the first pack I opened, but my first card was a 2013 McDonald's holo Fletchling. The artwork for thr card is really pretty, too.
The first pack I ever remember buying was a Japanese team rocket from a liquor store I went to with my Grandmother when I was 7 or 8. I had gotten starter decks before that and the occasional promo card but that was my first pack.
Evolving skies is my first ever booster pack and Chilling reign is my favorite because Aloan Vulpix is in the pack and it is my favorite along with umbreon thanks Nate for bringing us laughs and sending us positive vibes
The very first pack of cards I ever bought (by myself; not mooching off of my parents) was a Neo Destiny pack. By some stroke of magic, I pulled a Shining Mewtwo! Fast forward in life: I was bringing my card collection to show my grandparents (they were super excited...) and I spilled milk all over them. Even though I no longer have the card, it is my favorite Pokemon memory!
My first ever Pokemon pack that I opened was an evolutions. My family and I went to Walmart and it was super stocked with Pokemon cards. I didn’t really know what it was about but I bought because I’m my friends had a lot of them at that time. I opened it in the store after I payed for it of course, and in my first ever pack of Pokemon cards I got a M Charizard Ex the full art one and it was the best moment of mine life. I still have that card to this day and it’s a little damaged but I still love it.
That's nuts, my first time at books a million was a couple years ago lmao. I use to get base set packs from a convince store, right there from the box on the counter
Very first pack was a base set pack. Remember my mom letting me get it before we checked out at a store and I was so excited. It was a venusaur pack and the rare was a trainer lol
My first ever pack of pokemon cards was a plasma storm booster. I had been playing the games for about a year or so and I was allowed to buy a pack of cards at the store when I was 10. Since then my hobby for collecting them has only grown. Good luck to all. Positive vibes
my first pack of pokemon cards was actually a deck when I was 7 a year after my pokemon craze began after I finished black 2 x and y rolled around I wanted some pokemon toys and cards so I get home from school what do you know a Yveltal deck from x y base set sitting on the table I still have the exact yveltal card in my binder its in rough shape but I think that makes it more special to me, the fact i have it and I did not take great care of my cards back then but I still have the first card I ever owned it looked amazing
My first ever pack was a chilling reign so as you can guess I just recently started collecting but on my first pack I got a full art tornadus V single strke and I was so happy, talk about first pack luck.
Hey I was collecting for a while but my first pack in s was while was also shilling reign and I got a rainbow rare brawls rapid strike. Good luck in your collection
I think it was an early 2000s thing to have beach themed bathrooms...my mom had one of the bathrooms in the house decorated with seashells and pictures of the beach. Also had a sand in a bottle with small seashells and small plastic buckets and shovels..lmao
the most regrettable thing i have ever done is that i 'threw' my mega rayquaza gx, mega charizard x and y ex, charizard ex from the x and y booster packs only to find out that these actually are worth decent amount of money
I’m going to Walmart Friday cause that’s when they said their vendor comes to restock, hopefully I find and pick up some tins cause I have been wanting to get into Pokémon but I can’t find any cards or anything so hopefully these are there.
I was 8 Years of Age and I had birthday money to spend and Some of it went to a Pokémon Pack & A Theme Deck. This was the 1st Ever Pokémon Card Pack I got and it was Base Set & I Pulled a Blastoise
The very first pack was evolutions. I loved watching Pokémon back then. I asked my parents if I could have a evolutions pack. I didn’t get anything in it that was really good. But I was still grateful. edit- I would really love this card for my collection, it would look great and my 2nd vmax in my collection ;-;
The first pack I bought was some rebel clash and vivid voltage. I had been watching your hidden Pokémon videos and wanted to try it out, when we went to a Micheals (which has Pokémon cards) they said they had some in the back but couldn’t bring them out yet so then I went to the card section lifted up the shelf and there were 4 rebel clash and 4 vivid voltage and I bout them all. Love your vids❤️
@realbreakingnate great video. Me and my 2 young sons have just got into Pokémon card collecting and picked up 2 of these Poke balls. Can you give any ideas what to do with the empty cases once the packs and coin have been taken out. We have them on display at the moment but didn't know if you could recommend a more practical use, thanks.
I literally thought this was just me but when I was like 4 years old in 2010 my mom put seashells on the toilet tank and they got all dusty and I would touch them
Hello Nate, I’m a really big fan! I just started getting into Pokémon again after 5 years and it’s awesomely fun! Unfortunately, they cost a lot especially right now so we can’t afford many packs. It would mean the world if I won the gold card as it would be my first!
I’m 38 years old and when the original set came out I was at the new Best Buy that opened up I had a sandwich baggies full of change that my mamaw had given me and I picked up 2 booster packs I picked venusaur and blastoise pack arts got home and opened them and found the holo charizard and was so excited about it until a few days later my mom had cleaned my room and the cards were nowhere to be found. I cried like a baby, and I still think of that day all the time especially since I got back into collecting last year
